If you want some good seafood, DONTCOMEHERE! This is a sincere warning since we had a horrible experience here. First of all, service was incredibly slow, unresponsive, and nothing close to friendly. Waiting for our food also took an hour, and the food was incredibly disappointing. We ordered a seafood platter to share which was 16 euro… And turned out to be a plate of tiny portions from that kind of frozen seafood mix you can buy for cheap at any grocery store. This isn’t even just a speculation, the plate literally composed of those exact ingredients. Next we ordered the grilled bass, bream, and grilled fish plate. Everything was absolutely dried out, flavored the same(which was with nothing), and likely cooked at the same time which resulted in disaster. It was painful to finish the meal but you feel obligated since the prices are high. All in all we waited forever for disgusting food, don’t come here if possible!

Bonne note pour cette trattoria. Les spaghettis«buseri con scampi» sont un vrai régal. Petit«bémol»: le vin en pichet n’était pas à la hauteur des plats que nous avons goûtés. L’accueil est parfait et le chanteur vous réserve une vraie sérénade. Nous avons passé un bon moment.

I was very excited to eat here and EXTREMELYDISAPPOINTED Like another reviewer, I was staying in the neighborhood. Chanced upon the restaurant at lunch and decided to return for dinner, during my 2 week stay in Venice(I ate at a lot of restaurants here and the surrounding islands). Anyway, food was actually quite good. BUTTHESERVICEWASABOMINABLE!!! If my Mom hadn’t insisted she«was starved» I would have insisted(well I did, but I lost the argument) that we leave. We asked for a table, were IGNORED. Group of 4 comes right after and asks for a table, is seated inside(it was cold). We indicated we would wait and WEREIGNORED. Nice family of 4 sitting outside from Australia tells us how they have been waiting to sit inside for an hour but finally ordered because their kids were hungry. I repeat, ITWASCOLDOUTSIDE; they had kids(well behaved ones at that). Anyway, we finally moved inside. The singing owner, another reviewer wrote of, SQUISHEDMYMOTHER(who is a thin person) INTHEDAMNEDDOOR. Who does this!!! No apology. Just a scowl and no eye contact for the rest of the evening. Finally, after much waiting, we order. We eat. We want dessert. NODESSERTORCOFFEEMENUOFFERED(trust me, this is a big no-no in European dining). Waiter relents and says, «We only have Tartufo.» My Mom, since it is our last night and last meal says, «Fine, thank you.» Time to go. I LEAVE A BIGTIP(undeserved) WITH A NOTE: «Your food was lovely but you were rude to my mother…» DONOTGIVEYOURPATRONAGETOTHISTRATTORIA. Good food(not great) is never worth being treated with disrespect. P. S. Did I mention my Mom and I are a couple of hotties? WTF!!!

Very good good. The service was great — Dak, our server was conversational and even helped us with a little Italian. Had the Sea Bass, quite excellent. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner.

I ordered the vegetable pizza and it was great. However when I couldn’t finish it, I asked for it to go. Well the lady took the plate after a conversation about boxing it up and never came back. After 5 minutes, I asked if she had finished with my food. She immediately ran to the back and I heard her wrapping it up in foil. I checked the pizza and it had a fish bone in the middle of it. She threw it away and when I asked for it she got it out the trash. Disgusting! Why wouldn’t just say you threw it out or you did not understood me. :(sad face…

We enjoyed our trip to Giorgione’s! It was recommended by the host from the apartment we rented in the neighborhood and worth every cent, especially when the restaurant’s owner came out and sang at the end of our meal! For a starter, we each had 2 scallops served swimming in lemon juice, olive oil and parsley. For an entrée, I had the spaghetti with clams and ate every bite. My husband really like the calamari. Our table of 3 shared the liter of house red which was fantastic for only 14 euro. The only drawback was the swarm of flying ants which attacked our table and the ones next to us on the patio, but I guess that’s the danger of dining al fresco. Definitely stop by Giorgione’s when you’re in the neighborhood.

mon meilleur souvenir culinaire de Venise qualité-prix. le restaurant est situé sur le bassin de Saint-Marc, il faut se diriger vers l’Arsenal et gravir le pont qui est juste avant les giardini publici: la via garibaldi est à votre gauche(c’est un ancien canal qui a été comblé à l’époque de Bonaparte, comme les jardins qui y ont été créés). la carte est complète et alléchante(antipasti, primi, secondi, pizze, dolce) et une carte des vins honnête. la pizza inferno a été une révélation pour moi(vous pouvez aussi en créer une selon l’humeur du pizziaolo). la grigliata mista di pesce est somptueuse arrosée d’un blanc vénitien ! on s’en sort pour 50EUR à deux avec le vin
