I found a cute and girlish patisserie and café in front of Shuntokumichi station of JR and Kintestu railways. My husband and I had little opportunity to come to this area and decided to take a rest because we got tired after looking for eye glasses. It was a small shop, housing 4 or 5 tables. On the wall shelf, hand-made goods such as tissue case covers, book covers, sanitary pouches, beads for hand-made and so on are displayed and sold. Magazines were also placed(mainly for young women), so if you come here alone, you can read them over a cup of tea. My husband ordered a crape a la Lane at 340 yen and hot tea and I a chocolate tart at 320 yen and tea(uva). If one order a cake set, one can be discounted by 100 yen from the drink price. To our joy, they served tea pot. So we could drink another cup of tea and exchange them each other. Also, there was no strainer, it was inserted into the tip of the pot. It sometimes bothers me to set a strainer when I pour hot tea into the cup. Tea cups were served hot. Nice hospitability. Both two cakes were nice and reasonable! We were satisfied with service, price, and sweets. They offered not only fresh cakes but also baked cakes and cookies. I love cookies rather than fresh cakes. So we bought some. I am looking forward to eating them.
