Iwafune Shrine

I’ll show you one of the adventure spots in Osaka.
«Gankutsu Meguri» in Iwafune shrine. Gankutsu is a cave. So walking inside the cave. It is famous as a local courage trial spot. I knew the Gankutsu Meguri from a TV program. I am a coward but I wanted to challenge it once from my curiosity.
I went to the place accompanying with my reluctant husband and paid 500 yen in a shrine office. Because it was a place of the mountaineering asceticism formerly, I supposed it would be considerably the fierce distance. We dashed to the cave with expectation.
When I passed through the gap of huge rocks approaching in front of me while letting me twist the body and did not walk cautiously, footing was in danger. Due to excessive hardship, I changed direction and returned by the route where I got down on all fours, and retired it on the way.
I passed by young ladies toward the cave in the way back. I looked back like Picture of Looking-​Back Beauty drawn by Moronobu Hishikawa, and almost cried, «Stop it!» But I hesitated to detain them for too light steps and looked at their back figures with the feeling of the old woman who saw off the granddaughters who left for the far-​off place.
After a short while, they reencountered us. They came out of the cave with any cool face after I finished prayer in the shrine.
I made out that I was spastic from this adventurous experience.
