I’ve been lucky enough to have Sushi Gin as my go to spot when visiting Tokyo over the past 12 years. Hands down, easily the best sushi I’ve had anywhere in Japan or the US. Fresh, high quality seafood and vegetables clearly selected with care each morning from trusted purveyors at Tsukiji. Always a large selection, including things you’ve never had before. The chef is a master. Effortless nigiri, beautifully crafted sashimi plates, great interaction and service(we bring our two and four year olds, and they are welcomed with open arms). Tonight was another exceptional experience, with lots if uni, negi-toro, shima aji, Hotate etc, and a unctuous broth of matsutaki mushroom.
