Sewerage Science Museum

In the six-​storied building you can learn about sewerage. The sewerage mainly has three roles in draining rain water to prevent cities or towns from being flooded, collecting used water in various places, and cleansing collected sewage.
In the first place my husband and I applied for the attraction, underground explorer, which explores famous underground spots in the world, such as subways in Paris, a cemetery with numerous skeletons filled and so on. On weekend you may have to wait for 15 or 30 minutes. We had to wait for 15 minutes, so we looked around other floors during the waiting time. We returned to the basement and enjoyed 6-​minute underground travel. If you are pregnant or get motion sickness easily, you can not get in the machine.
On the first floor you can feed yellow and blue colorful fish in a glass tank. It is enjoyable. When we arrived here, it was over. So you had better check the schedule in advance.
On the fourth floor we experienced 100ml per hour downpour by the machine. I will be frightened, if heavy rain falls suddenly during driving. We can not be too careful for contingency, though it was rare experience.
On the sixth floor you will feel relaxed. It is a small botanical garden, where bananas or tomatoes are planted by processed water and its heat. On that day we visited there was no tomato and bananas ripened.
It is a public facility for free. If you take your children here, they can learn about sewerage and become to think it important to protect water.
