JR Okubo Station

This was the station where my long trek from Narita ended; thus I was thankful for the journey to be over but not too happy to be plunked down in a chaotic train station.
Okubo is a smaller station but it’s definitely lively since it drops you off right in the middle of «Koreatown». There are lots of good KBBQ places, supermarkets and other Korean specialty stores in this area. And if you are a fan of K-​pop there are tons of stores selling merchandise with various Korean artists’ faces plastered on top (pillows, stickers, books, posters etc).
Train station itself is crazy but it’ll get you to where you need to go and it’s convenient.
