Enjoyed staying at APA hotels in several locations in Japan. This location is perfect. They do not speak English here, at the front desk, or in any of the two restaurants here, at all. But they do understand bad Japanese.
Also, the front restaurant does not take credit cards, or room charges.
The rooms were great, and very very quiet and clean. Television takes some figuring out, but they have eight channels, all in Japanese. No telephones in the room.
The real gem of this particular location is how close it is to the Itabashi train station — literally this is on the other side of the tracks. Given how close it is, I expected at least some train noise, but there was none.
There is a nice wine bar across the street and many Chinese, Indian, and Japanese retaurants of all types near the hotel, as well as a convenience store next door.
