This is the train station to get to the Kyokushinkai Honbu Dojo (the original one). It is a difficult karate dojo to find online, or by asking locals. The koban outside the station is very helpful. Koban is like an information booth manned by uniformed officers. Even if you don’t speak Japanese, start your question with «sumimasen» and don’t forget to say «Arigato». I have included a map to Oyama’s dojo.

As you know, this station is one of the largest station in Japan.
There are three big cities in Japan, which are Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro.
You can travel all by Yamanote Line or Hukutoshin Line.
Each has its own feature, and this Ikebukuro has a little calmer place near the station.
Ikebukuro is mainly a city for young people like Shibuya, but if you go far away from the station beyond Sunshine Tower, you can find a calm residential place.
Ikebukuro also has tram, too, but it is not easy to find it.
It is, as I said, near the Sunshine Tower to calmer places.
Mainly you can enjoy in any way, as you can in Shinjuku or Shibuya.
