Backyard is a cool place to hang out at as it has a nice inside and outside seating area. usually we go here with our doggies so we always sit outside cause they’re not allowed inside. The food and drinks here are pretty good. I’ve tried the mutton fried rice and the beef burger, both every yummy and i would definitely order the same or similar thing when i go back.
I honestly really liked Backyard and always have a good time when i go there. On weekends they even have live performances by bands or solo singers which can be quite entertaining. Parking here is very easy too as there are many available lots nearby. Backyard closes pretty late so no worries about having last orders etc.
This is definitely the place for you if you like to chill with friends over good drinks and good music.

Backyard Pub & bar has been around for a very long time. I’d still recall hearing my elder cousins planning their night out while I sit in at home on a school night. This place is known to showcase some of the best homegrown talents in klang valley. You can also pop by backyard to play a game or 2 over some drinks & local pub grubs. The hot sellers here include the mutton fried rice, fried noodles & spicy sausages.
Heads-​up non smokers, Monday nights at Backyard is a non-​smoking night, so you can have your fair share of relaxation & fun and not worry about the smoke stench which would haunt you all the way home. There must be a reason why backyard has been around for so long & from what I gather its due to the reasonable priced drinks, constant flow of regulars, good tunes & perfect location.

Perks of working above a pub especially when you are working overnight in an event company and got the best boss ever who buys staff drinks and dinner and bring upstairs to eat. If you are wondering isn’t noisy? the answer is no. it keeps us entertained while we are focused.
Sometimes during overtime, we would order food from downstairs instead of Pizza or Mcd or eating instant noodles for dinner and my favourite food in here is the Sri Lankan Fried Rice. THE BEST! The aromatic fragrant of spices with Sri Lankan rice mixed with cut outs of mutton for RM13, you got a big plate of this and this is so so worth it! i can never stop eating this while im doing work, the flavour the taste, it is just so delicious.
They got drinks such as all types of beers you know, Tiger Radler, Stout and many more. Come by Wednesday or Thursday night, you will see live bands performing and lots and lots of foreigners. A great place to meet new people.

An iconic pub in Hartamas (and in KL, really), Backyard’s winning format combines decent drinks, hearty food and good music. It is easy to feel at home here if you don’t mind the band belts out Hotel California every now and then.
