Very nice staff in this neighborhood coffee shop and bakery. Try the banana bread and cookies, they are just like mom used to make.

As Verve suites is well-known for its exclusivity, Verve shops for sure are well known for the variety of nice coffee shops that they have right now. ‘Podgy’ over here for sure is one of the more well-known ones, and Joe Break and Afters is in fact one of the newer ones. New but not lacking its attractiveness, the big spread of mosaic wall right beside the shop entrance is definitely one of the most Instafriendly spots. Another thing that really got my attention too is the mix of furniture that they use here. Opting out from the mainstream minimalist design that’s trending right now, they set up their lounging area with a selection of different couches and chairs with striking colours. This is in fact one of the things that I like about this place. About the food — hey, this is actually a non-halal restaurant. So, the order of big breakfast came with pork sausage and bacon. At the price of RM22, it comes with a cup of coffee, however the serving of the cuppa joe was a little too small — I usually drink my morning coffee in a mug. Iced black on the other hand was okay, their coffee is definitely leans towards the citrus tone which is smoother, but doesn’t really give a strong kick. So, if you are looking for a cup of strong coffee, they might not be the exact coffee shop that you’d like. Parking is not that hard here, but people usually park beside the road. So, if you’re doing the same, remember to watch your car ;)
