I stumbled upon CzipLee when I was still in college(just typing that out makes me feel so old) and I fell in love with everything about this shop. They have thousands of different pens, notebooks, art supplies… basically you can’t walk in here and not buy anything. I have come in here with the firm intention of buying just 2 black pens and I walked out RM100 poorer and with like 12 different things! That’s what CzipLee does to you. This is more than just a stationery shop — it’s where writing dreams are made. They sell an impressive range of Moleskine notebooks, those famous notebooks used by the likes of Ernest Hemingway and Vincent Van Gogh. They even offer engraving/embossing services here so you could give a personalised notebook to a loved one. Seriously, you would never be able to resist the charm of this shop, you may think you will go in for just a minute and then half-an hour later, you will realise you have tried out 15 different fountain pens. Then, sheepishly you will buy one. Or two. Or five.

You open the door and as soon as the air touches your face you smile. Your senses are heightened and your eyes are dancing with joy. Your heart is beating faster and your mind is already assessing the perimeter. Yes, you are in the right place and you know it. All the stationaries, the colourful pens, the beautifully designed notebooks and those sexy looking agendas. You are in big trouble! Take a deep breath, smell that paper and brace yourself. Ready, set, explore! Yes, I love book stores. You got me. The bigger the better :) I actually found this place by mistake. I was google-ing how to get to the TM point and when I checked the map I saw a picture of this building. I made a mental note where I am heading and decided if I am in the neighbourhood I might as well stop here too. One can never have enough stationary, or notebooks, or sticky notes. The place is large and it has everything you can imagine. If you are like me and love the smell of books and paper, you love those thin point, colourful and glittery pens you will love this place. They have really good prices(pens under RM3, highlighters under RM3) and the cashiers are very helpful and pleasant. Be careful as a quick minute stop may turn into a half an hour browsing time which may leave you with 15 new pens and 5 new colourful sticky notes. Yes, I am guilty. I gave in and bought all that, but boy am I excited to start writing or what. So if you ever find yourself in need of any new stationary do look this place up. I loved it!
