It’s one good thing to have a good Korean barbecue restaurant in place, it’s another great thing to have its branch opened in another place! BBQ-K has surely become one of my favourite place for Korean barbecue ever since they opened, and talk about the affordable price that they are offering their buffet lunch and dinner at, you’d surely think of it as a good deal. Located in Sunway Giza, this restaurant won’t be too hard to find, and if you can’t find a parking spot nearby, you could park at their basement parking in Sunway Giza. Dinner buffet is RM45 per adult, while lunch is RM38, except for Friday to Sunday its priced at RM45 per adult. Isn’t that a steal? They offer pork, chicken and beef here for barbecue, and they have a selection of seafood as well, so fix your craving for Korean barbecue here, without worries of paying too much — but watch out for your waistline yea.

I love Korean BBQ, but sadly the pricing are not cheap. I always have to control the amount of my orders so that I do not exceed my budget. Sad, huh? I think if you are a Korean BBQ lover, then you would know what I meant. So, it was an excellent news for me when I came across BBQ-K at Sunway Giza. BBQ-K serves Korean barbeque BUT in buffet style! Yay! This mean, I could eat all I want by just paying RM45! They have 2 branches — Mont Kiara and Sunway Giza. Since we couldn’t get a reservation for Mont Kiara, we ended up at the branch in Sunway Giza. It might be a little challenging to find the restaurant. It’s located in Sunway Giza Mall, but facing the Giza square. If you know where Beer Factory used to be, the restaurant is located the same row but on the 1st floor. It took us sometime to find the place. The moment we entered the restaurant, I could smell the aroma of BBQ meat. It was heavenly! The staffs were very friendly and showed us to our table. One piece of advice, do make your reservation rather than walking-in. The branches are always crowded and you do not want to get disappointed or stand and wait with an empty stomach while surrounded by the aroma of BBQ meat. For the price of RM45 per person, they have quite a satisfying selections. You can enjoy all the chicken, beef, pork, seafood, mushrooms and many more dishes. Apart from the BBQ dishes, they have some pre-cooked dishes at the buffet line too. You’ll see some familiar side dishes at the buffet line, and it’s a good idea to munch on some of these while waiting for the meat to be cooked. Talked about BBQ meat, the servers will cook the meat for you and you just need to sit back, relax and wait for the meat to be cooked. You do not really need to wait for the servers to take the meat our from the BBQ pit. If you think your meat are cooked well enough, request them to remove the meat by all means; or else, you might end up with some over-cooked meat. They have different sauces for you to pair with the barbecue too. I’m not a fan of the Salad Sauce, but liked the Really Spicy and Onion Sauce a lot. Although it might say«Really Spicy», but it wasn’t really very spicy after all. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner at BBQ-K and I would definitely recommend this place if you are a BBQ lover. One down side of this place is they do not serve dessert. They have ice cream, but you have to pay for it.
