Popular during lunch time, Restaurant Busy Corner is well known of their claypot chicken rice. There are a few types of claypot rice where you can go for other than chicken. They serve claypot with beef, prawns, traditional Chinese wax sausage and you can also opt to add in some eggs if you like it. Frankly speaking, each type are extremely fragrant and savory so you can opt for any one of them and still have a great meal. Their steam soup which is rich in flavour are also everyones’ favourite in this restaurant. The herbal soup contains lots of red dates, wolfberry, yuk chuk and dried fig fruit. Certainly worth the try and perfect for working adults who would like a bowl of soup after a long day. Quick tip, avoid lunch hours on weekdays if you’re in a rush as parking can be a hassle.

Busy Corner is a restaurant selling Claypot Chicken Rice located in Damansara Jaya behind KDU college. It is on the same row next to Petronas and is near the various cybercafes. Busy Corner is a no-frills restaurant serving genuinely good food in a simple setting. This place is a favourite among students, gamers and the general population of Damansara Jaya. Their claypot chicken rice is delicious, coming with the optional salted fish and cured Chinese sausage. Very value for money and budget friendly too. Diners can order sides like stir fried vegetables or a variety of homemade soup. The place is busy during lunch hours filled with students and some working folk, while dinner time tends to be quieter. Do note that the claypot chicken rice here is cooked on a gas stove and not over charcoal, so it lacks the smokey charcoal flavour loved by some. No complaints though, as this place has a solid offering of good food at great value.

It’s a good thing that their name do reflect the business outlook. They are pretty busy on most of the times I’ve visited them. It’s located not far away from KDU College and this is one of the go to food for KDU students if they do not know where to go. There were 4 of us and we ordered 2 different claypot flavor just so we can try different dishes. They have big prawn, beef, chicken and other sorts of spice flavored cooking style. We ordered some vegetable on top of the claypot rice and they have chinese soup choices on top of that. I wouldn’t say that this is the best of the best claypot to go to because often times I do find their rice a little over burnt on the claypot.
