My sister introduced me to this place where they serve really good pasta and she was right! Chilli Rush offers a affordable lunch buffet during weekdays which is really good for a student like myself. It comes with salad, soup of the day, ice lemon tea and many kinds of pastas and they are all refillable ! Yes you read that correctly all refillable even the pasta but you have to mention to the waiter first as it comes from the kitchen. Also if you are a spicy lover like me then you must check out their spicy chicken wings! They have a spicy level from 1 to 10 and I was brave enough to try a 8 but I barely survived! Up for the challenge?

Do not be fooled by their name. Once you step in here, you better gear up for that chili rush because you’ll be needing a bucket of ice to bury your head in once you’re done with your meal. Famous for their hot wings, it comes in 10 different level of hotness and above that, there’s a challenge where one is acquired to consume the highest level of chili rush spiciness that’ll gonna send the warriors with stomachs of steel and tongues for glutton begging for mercy. My brother, being the spicy glutton that he is(that didn’t come off right), ordered a level 5 of spiciness and he was already near to tears. Other than the highly raved wings, they also serve local food like nasi lemak and chicken wrapped in pandan just to name a few. International dishes includes ‘moussaka’, fisherman’s pie and a lamb shank dish which is new on their menu. Best part is, everything here isn’t artificially flavored. It’s all naturally flavored with spices. It’s MSG-free too. Just a little warning, DONOT give in to greed and get a level 10 unless you want your stomach burned in an endless pit of destruction. XoXo

Chilli lovers, I’m sure you’ve been here before. The main highlight for this place is their hot wings. They come in 10 different level of hotness and above that, there’s a challenge level chilli rush spiciness that’s gonna put in the same stratosphere amongst the elite tongued and steel-stomached. I personally have tried the challenge level and I must say it’s something that will burn your lips and tongue for hours! I would never recommend you to attempt to try it if you are not a frequent spicy eater because it will definitely severely puncture your stomach and cause high levels of pain. So besides the elaborated hot wings introduction. This eatery has got moderate pricing of dishes. They do serve local food choices like nasi lemak and pandan wrapped chicken just to name a few. Around the world dishes includes moussaka, burgers, fisherman’s pie and new on their menu is lamb shank. It’s a place I would definitely revisit because their dishes are MSG free and contains only natural flavors from ingredients.

As a huge fan of pasta, this place was a regular lunch spot for me as they offer an attractive lunch buffet during weekdays. Be warned though, you might be nodding off after fulfilling your pasta craving at this place. The lunch buffet comes with salad, soup of the day and ice lemon tea which are all refillable. The salad and soup are laid out on the buffet table so its self service. There are usually five choices of pasta including your regular carbonara but my favourite is usually the arabiata chicken which is a little spicy. THe pastas are also refillable(yay!) though you’ll have to request from the waiters who’ll bring it from the kitchen. I like how I’m able to try different varieties of pasta this way as I can order a different pasta on my second helping. Chilli rush is also known for their spicy chicken wings and if you have what it takes then sign up for their challenge. The spicy level ranks from 1 – 10 so choose your level wisely.

I am a chilli lover and the name of this place immediately caught my attention! I’ve been told to try the Chilli Rush Hot Wings which has one to ten Levels of spiciness!!! They use a variety of the mildest to spiciest from different sizes of chillis and their«secret sauce» compromising of Eastern and Western flavors. Not being over confident, my friend and I ordered the Level 7 Hot Wings,(we wanted to try 10 straight), and also a plate of Nasi Lemak. The chicken wings were battered and deep fried, and it was served looking hellish red. The chili seeds weren’t taken out and I took on the challenge. Spiciness wise, it was VERYSPICY, for my spiciness level intake, I would rate it at about 6 – 7, I could take spicier(I think). But nonetheless, this was burning on my lips and made me sniffing a little! I would have preferred if they had taken out the chilli seeds though, and I didn’t really like the fact that the chillis weren’t blended very well. They were kind of coarse and chunky, the kind that could get stuck in your teeth. Flavor wise, I thought it kind of tasted like a fusion-ed Sambal, with a slight taste of some kind of hot sauce. The Nasi Lemak was not bad, it was a break in between the chilli rush. Overall, I thought it was an exciting try. I’m interested to come by and try out their other dishes, they have Asian favorites to Pasta and Pizzas. And I am coming back to try Level 10!

If you are a pasta maniac then you really have to drop by Chili Rush at Jaya One during weekdays for lunch. They have«Pasta Buffet», where you can order as many plates of pasta as you wish, and they have a few choices for you to choose from too. Apart from the pasta, the buffet comes with free flow of salad and soup, and one free drink. The restaurant is located along the same row as Wendy’s, just opposite The Bee. My colleague and I would drop by the restaurant whenever we were feeling really hungry or for department lunch. They have the usual choices such as Bolognese and Carbonara, but my ultimate favourite would be the Spicy Jalapeño. You can taste the Jalapeño and feel the heat in the dish. It might get spicier, but it’s too good that I can’t stop. For a less heavy option, I would recommend the pasta with anchovies too. It’s light and flavourful, and you can have a 2nd or 3rd serving after this. Even though they are serving it buffet style, the pasta doesn’t come in small portion. Apart from the pasta dishes, they have some ala carte menu on some local delicacies and Western dishes too. If you like to challenge your tolerance in eating spicy food, then you probably would like to consider trying their spicy buffalo wings. They have different level of spiciness, and you can opt for the maximum if you have faith in yourself. My friend and I tried their Level 5, and we surrendered after that. Both of us love our spicy food, but that was too much for us to handle.
