The price is reasonable for the giant size portion. I love their pasta. the best

This is the mamak that is packed with people during the night despite the crazy parking situation in SS2. 5 stats for variety here! If you have difficulty making choices, you’re gonna feel it here. There’s Asian cuisine like claypot loh shu fun, roti and naan, typical mamak affairs such as maggi goreng and nasi goreng and not forgetting western food like spaghetti and grilled salmon. There’s definitely something for everyone here. Portion here is big so if you’re ordering a nasi goreng, I bet you can’t finish the whole plate by your own. They also have quirky names for their dishes like naan Beckham which is naan with ham and cheese. You’ll also have a wide variety of drinks to choose from and yeah they have cool names too! I would suggest to stay away from their nasi lemak because it is below average mainly due to the lack of fragrance in the nasi. Only downside here is the cleanliness but overall a good mamak.

Though there are a few Murni Discovery shops around Klang Valley, not all are the same — in the sense that they are all specialised in certain kinds of food in the standard menu. Like this branch here at SS2 does a great job on their Claypot Bee Tai Bak(those fat, soft white noodles). It has a lot of flavours in it and it taste really great. Their maggie goreng is pretty good too. It has a special sauce in it and it’s not dry at all. It’s really moist and the noodles are not overly soggy. They know the perfect way to soften the noodles before frying. They have a lot of fun names going around in the menu to name their dishes. Roti Beckham is really good. I can’t really figure out what is inside the soft pastry but there is definitely some meat and caramelised onions in it. Their drinks comes in funny names as well — celebrity names, I Miss You, I love You, etc. Fret not as they do describe the ingredients in the menu. On another note, parking is horrible at SS2 and the hygiene is not exactly C class even as you are often times seated at the outside area. But the food is worth it.

wowwww, it’s been awhile i didn’t get a chance to go here. So today is the day. where i see lots of different already. the restaurant much more bigger than before. This means they gave good impact towards the customers. The specialty of the restorant is that, the drinks. they gave LARGEGLASS which is only cost you rm4−6only. it’s soo reasonable with the range. while i ordered mee raja for rm8.00 and my sis in law and brother ordered chicken napolean and spg aglio alio. Both of the dishes RM12.00. The name of the drinks pretty catchy, they got«kiss me baby», «girlfriend», and«spain» that ordered. This restaurant always full house especially on the weekend. we have to wait to get seated. From what i see lots of youngster like to go here because it quite cheap and still affordable. Business Hour 8.00AM — 5.00PM; 6.00PM — 5.00AM(Closed Mondays). It’s hard to get parking becaus elots of people go there. first come first served. or else you have to find a bit far from the restaurant. So far this restaurant have good feedback from the customers. Grreat. so whoever didn’y get a change. This is anmust visit place. ;)

One of the most popular«mamak» in Petaling Jaya and to be frank, it’s one of my favourite mamak’s to go to. Parking here can be relatively easy to find but is not, I repeat NOT easy to find at all during the night. During the night, Murni’s crowd can fill up an entire stretch of the roadside. It just proves that people love the food in Murni. Mee Raja is very famous here(if im not mistaken, I think it’s around RM8???) I remembered it was quite cheap for a big portion. The Nasi Lemak is also one of the treasures you may find here. The chicken is wrapped in Pandan Leaf to add a nice aroma to the meal. That is my favourite dish in this mamak. If you are a vegetarian, I suggest you try out their Naan Cheese. It also packs a punch. The waiters and waitresses here are fast to pick up orders even when the crowd is full on packed at night and service here are sometimes fast; it varies depending on where you sit.

If you’re hungry for some comfort food in the middle of the night and so happen that you’re staying nearby to SS2 Petaling Jaya, Murni Discovery @ SS2 will be the answer to your cravings! Murni Discovery @ SS2 is probably the first fusion mamak between local malaysian cuisine and western/italian cuisines. Almost anything you can think of in those cuisines, you can probably have it here and those that you won’t think of as well! Murni has one of the widest variety of foods to choose from, and with one of the most creative/corny named beverages such as «I Love You» or «I Miss You». Murni is always packed with customers almost every night and they will have tables set up from one end of the shop lot to the other end of the shop lot(quite an impressive sight). My favourite dishes here would definitely be their Mozzarella Cheese Naan with Ham and their infamous IndoMee which takes an awfully long time to get served(1 hour plus at times…). If you have not tried Murni Discovery before, I recommend this place to those that have yet try out. Believed me, you won’t regret it!

Waiter: «Miss mahu order apa?» Me :“I Love you“ Waiter: «OK, lagi? Makan mahu apa?» ******************** This is the only place where your«I Love you» jokes won’t turn out that well. Lol maybe sometimes, when we have cheekier waiters to serve us. :) Speaking of food, I love their Roti Beckam. I don’t know why it just taste good to me. And I also like their poison ivy drink. Cannot picture both poison ivy and Beckham in the same picture, but yeah this is just random stuff. This will be a good spot to yumcha and chill during late nights and some people will travel to this place just to watch football. I like the fact how far this whole chain of restaurant can stretch towards during night time, it really impressed me because they know exactly where you sit and whether or not you have foot the bill. Some waiters are crazy amazing with their memory skills as well. The go table by table for orders and then come back with the exact order we made earlier. One thing not so pleasant will be the hygiene level. It’s really quite disturbing at times, seeing cockroaches and rats running around. Not in the premise, but in the drains along the corridors. Hope they can improve in the hygiene area and everything else will look good! :)

If you have yet to visit any Mamak, then you have never really been to Malaysia. If you have yet to visit Murni, then you are not a Malaysian. Murni is called the«longest» mamak in the town as it has so many customers until their tables almost possessed the corridors of others shops in the same row. One of the reason of why Murni is so popular, is it serves all kind of Malaysian food, from various types of roti canai to Italian spaghetti. I was amazed by the food they serve during my first visit, which is few years back when I just graduated from high school. Apart from that, I was so impressed by the memories of the waiters there. We have about more than 10 persons in a table and the waiter can remember all the food and drinks that we ordered, without jotting it down! O. O Even impressed was, he continued take orders for the other tables before he submitted the orders to the kitchen! I was like. OMG! How can they do that? haha! Of course, Murni is a Mamak that serve very nice food. My recommendations: 1. Go try out all kind of roti they have, there is one roti called Roti Beckham. =.=” 2. Drinks — «I Love You», «I miss you» etc. haha 3. Mee Raja is good too!

Murni is one of those places that you go to when you don’t know what to eat — BUT — it is also one of those places that you can’t decide what to eat when you get there. The huge variety of food and drinks in its menu leaves you on the fence. They also have a menu filled with interesting names of food and drinks that leaves you wondering what the ingredients are. But don’t get me wrong, it is really fun and interesting to eat there — sort of like a mamak that serves everything. The thing I love most about Murni is the many different choices of drinks they have. The one problem with Murni that I feel is that most of the time they are so full that they get so busy and they might not see you when you want to order. Also, the food across the different Murni(s) are not very consistent.

The main branch of Murni’s, known for their variety of food and ice blended drinks. Murni Discovery is always full just like the other Murni branches but the one here at SS2 is the craziest. They have so many tables and when they’re packed, you’ll be amazed by the number of people that come over to eat and chill. Favourite dish here is definitely their Lao Shu Fan and their Spaghetti Carbonara, along with a Large Honeydew Ice Blended Special! Price wise you’ll probably be looking from anywhere between RM10 to RM25. Parking is the only problem here, cause there is just so many people coming to Murni’s so maybe you might wanna park a little further and safe the hassle of finding parking and just walk over. This place has got to be my favorite spot in ss2 because the food they sell is just insanely delicious. It’s just a mamak shop lot with extended seating all the way to the outside and most of the time I’m there it is packed with people! The have food like Cheese Naan, Claypot Lou Shu Fun, Roti Hawaii, Nasi Lemak Ayam, Spaghetti Cabonara(is the bomb!), Chicken Chop, Tom Yum Friend Rice, Roti Salad, Water Melon, Hot Dogs… they«special» drinks like the Mango Special, Ribena Special, Watermelon special all come in a glass jar made from crushed ice and filled with coco de nata and just pure awesomeness. I always go for the Ribena special. The«special» drinks are definitely one of the key signature of this place. When eating here, you have to be really really patient because they have so many customers most of the time so you will get your food in 20 or 30 minutes but I assure that you won’t even be upset for waiting that long to get your food!

I bet most of you guys know David Beckham and I’m pretty sure that you know him to well. But have you heard about the ‘David Beckham’s Fried Rice’? You don’t have to go to Manchester, Madrid, Milan or Paris just to experience the fried rice. The fact is it is here in USJ Taipan. The restaurant that responsible of this creation is called Murni. This restaurant is famously known of their long-listed menu with a large amount of food portions. I used to wrote about a review about a place named William’s remember? Well, some people said that the owners of Murni and William’s are brothers. There are too many unique names on the menu list but it’s just the name. Don’t worry about it and please don’t hesitate to order. You would never get a naked football player that served on a plate. The food is delicious and extremely good considering you just have to pay them at the small amount of money for the huge portion of foods. Gosh, I sounds like my fellow typical Malaysians. The main branch is here in USJ Taipan is the other branch is nearby to Sunway Pyramid if I’m not mistaken. The service and surrounding can be described as okay since the premise is located next to the road and it’s an opened restaurant. People tends to come here and ‘lepak’ while watching football on the giant screen but please remember that this place would get even crowded during the football nights. Oh, as for the ladies, you could order the ‘I Love You” drink. I don’t know much about it but my girlfriend used to order it and the waiter gave a firty smile and said«I love you too»

A well known place to anyone who stays in Petaling Jaya. This is the restaurant where almost every late night owl would frequent for supper or a place for the late night clubbers to fill up their stomach after drinks and dance. Their menu is extensively massive with fusion of Western, Local, Chinese, Indian and Malay. You will be able to find whatever you’re familiar with and with new dishes that totally blow your mind because of their creative name. SS2 Murni is the main outlet before they started branching out to all the corners of Klang Valley. I’ve not been much to the other outlets because I find the main outlet is still the most happening outlet with easy access but horrible parking experience during peak hours.

The ultimate mamak experience! SS2 Murni’s beats all the other mamaks out there, hands down. The outlet often reaches full capacity on any given night and sets up tables and chairs along the walk way of their shop lots. The tables and chairs can be seen as far as 6 or 7 shop lots away from the original shop lot Murni operates from! It’s quite a feat! Murni’s has a super duper extensive menu! They have all sorts of cuisines from chinese to malay and even western dishes! They even have souped up roti’s that are filled with minced meat and eggs! Their drinks menu is equally impressive! They have all sorts of mocktails and ice blended fruit smoothies to local favourites like Milo dinosaur.

Murni is awesome because they serve a range of Asian and Western food a.k.a fusion. I also like to fact that their food portion is HUMONGOUSLY huge at reasonable prices too. I would frequent the one in SS2 as I think the food taste better than the one in Alam Damai. But SS2 outlet does tend to get packed very early. My most yay would be their cheese nan while my most nay is their spaghetti.

If you have not been to SS2 Murni, you’ve not been to SS2. I reckon this is the best choice for Mamak in SS2 due to its wide variety of food at good price. Serving tantalising food till late night(good for appetite, so bad for health, HAHA!). Not sure if the following is true, I’m told that Murni is opened by a Baba and the food is actually of cuisine of Nyonya and fusion of Chinese and Malay(self-experiment). Some much to introduce, my favourite choices for you: 1) Mee Raja Although it is a bit oily, however, the taste is good and portion is so big, too big for me. You can add on with chicken chop too! 2) Roti Hawaii It tastes like murtabak. But with additional thickness and mayo, the taste is refreshed! 3) Claypot Lou Su Fun Yea yea, I know you will be like«why are you ordering this in Mamak?» It tastes so good and I’m confident to say the claypot lou su fun of Murni is better than some Chinese’s stalls. Worth trying if you still miss Chinese food in Mamak. WARNING: Big portion. Think twice and bring twice the space to fill the food. The only thing that I’m annoyed is there will be way too many customers during peak hour and the waiters are kinda too occupied. It takes more time to order and get your food. However, Murni is still our pride for SS2 and Malaysia!

Oh, Murni. It is the landmark that defines Petaling Jaya’s mamak, and the one that every mamak wishes to achieve all around Malaysia. Of course, the food itself is amazing, and the choices as large as Ron Jeremy’s badong-kadongs. Being a much more modernized mamak, its choices range from the usual nasi goreng to the spaghettis, and even claypot rice if you are to ask for it. I mean, come on, no other mamaks have that, and it delivers with a flavor profile that rivals some of the better dish-centric restaurants in KL. I have never experienced the feeling of being lost in a mamak, and this place made me to be just that due to the staggering amount of choices that I can order from the menu itself. If you are up for an experience of your lifetime, this is the place to go to. The price is cheap, the food is tasty and the service is great. Yes. Yes indeed.

Murni is one of my hang out place over food with my friends. They are like a Western cum Asian mamak stall. They serve all kind of food that you can find in a mamak stall, Asian hawker stalls and western restaurants. From nasi lemak, mee goreng, roti canai to claypot lou shu fan and spaghetti! Besides their food, they also serve a number of special drinks with catchy names like ‘I love you’, ‘I miss you’ and so on. Whenever I’m there, my drinks will always be ‘I love you’. As for food, there’s so much to choose from. Sometimes I’ll have the mozzarella cheese naan, roti telur, triple H, fried crab rice, carbonara, fried emperor noodles or claypot lou shu fan. They are all quite delicious. I find their food a little pricy for a mamak stall but their portion is quite big. A great place to hang out with friends over food(there’s so much to choose from). The only downside is that it is very difficult to get a parking there. Be prepared to wait for your table and food too!

If you pass by SS2 very often, I’m sure you’ll come across one particular shop lot crowded with patrons. This is Murni Discovery. It has been operating for a long time, and even after so many years, people are still willing to stand by the roadside to wait for an empty seat. You’ll be spoilt with choices in Murni, as they serve local cuisines, Western and Italian cuisines. Apart from the more familiar favourites such as Roti Hawaii and Roti Beckham; they offer new and exciting dishes such as Roti Vocano and Mee Raja Napolean. Apart from their wide range of choices, the portion is pretty big too. So, if you are a small eater, you might want to consider sharing the food. During the day, they have mixed rice options and I would definitely go for the Pandan Chicken, which has been highly recommended to me by Joe. Some of their signature dishes would be Claypot Lou Shu Fan, Mee Raja, and Nasi Lemak Kukus. Currently, they have expanded to 7 more outlets in Aman Suria, USJ, Sunway Mentari, Kepong, Bukit Jalil, Bandar Sri Permaisuri and Shah Alam. Operating Hours: Monday-Saturday(8am — 5am); Sunday(5pm — 5am)
