Nadeje

Nadeje was originated from Malaccca, and many people has been crazy about the place before it came to Klang Valley. I had mille crêpe before Nadeje but I just could understand why the craze, so I went to Nadeje to try out theirs.
They have the most varieties of crepes that I’ve ever seen. You can find the more common ones such as original, chocolate, and green tea; and the more unique ones such as royal milk tea, Malacca, mango yogurt, and praline lover.
The crêpe has very thin layer but I felt it was a tad too sweet for my liking. However, this could be a personal taste as I don’t really like sweet stuff.

Taste great BUT WHY SO OVERPRICED. Nadeja is a crêpe shop originated from Melacca and has raised up a huge hype about 2 years back. Their mille crêpe indeed taste very good. With ultra fine and even layer of crêpe over creamy and sweet fillings, their crêpe will melt into your mouth and give you the sweet happy sensation at every bite. I absolutely adore their strawberry and also green tea mille crêpe, so so good.
But price, too pricey! It’s about RM10 to RM15 per slice. Too much I want to pay for this because the ingredients should be quite cheap for crepes. Yummy, but pricey, yummy but pricey. Gosh the dilemma will go on and on, blerehh I will get an ice cream instead.

Besides those homemade crêpe cakes, this is by far the best that you can purchase anytime of the day if there’s one near your place.
This is the ever so famous crêpe cake that is originated from Malacca. Everyone who goes to Malacca would spend hours lining up during the weekends just to get their fair share of that slice of crêpe cake.
The staffs at this particular outlet is quite unique. I was asking the big size dark looking manager to recommend me something and I asked what’s his favorite and he said strawberry without missing a heartbeat. I said interesting towards him and proceeded with café mocha slice instead.
The place is quite warm as the air con isn’t at full blast and one of it is turned off. There are nice outdoor seats but I wouldn’t imagine anyone sitting outside during a hot day.

Nadeje, which is originally from the historical town of Malacca, have always been known for their creamy, luscious cakes made of fine, multilayer crepes. Opening another branch at Three Two Square, Petaling Jaya only made sense to cater to their Mille Crêpe fans here.
Although they have wide array of Mille crêpe flavors such as Strawberry, Green Tea, Mocha, Tiramisu, Banana Chocolate, Lemon Cheese, and heaps more. But, the one that would always keep me coming back is the Original Mille Crêpe (RM11.90). It never fails to satisfy my tastebuds.
Another favourite of mine has got to be the Strawberry Mille crêpe, covered in fresh slices of strawberries and tastes lovely. However, the Lemon Cheese mille crêpe was a huge let-​down. The thin layers were filled with too much cream which completely overpowered any hint of lemon in it. The cream cheese was too overbearing for me and I couldn’t bring myself to finish it. Hopefully, the team at Nadeje would make some minor tweaks to improve the flavor.

The famous Malacca crêpe cake shop is now is KL! You can now enjoy these delicious Mille Crêpe cakes without having to drive down to Melacca or hope that someone you know visits Melacca and then carry on to continuously bug them for as long as it takes until they finally give in and agree to buy it back for you.
I absolutely love Nadeje’s cakes but despite my love for it, I can never eat more than 2 slices as the creaminess of the cake is such a mouthful that it leaves me satisfied within the first 2 slices, any other that will just be too overwhelming. So I suggest sharing between friends and family if you want to try a few different choices.
I flavors I personally like are their Original cake and also the Tiramisu cake.
