Badminton has been a strong sport in Malaysia that always brings our fellow countrymen together, cheering for our national badminton players. Banking on the popularity of the sport, it’s no surprise that badminton sports goods suppliers have steadily mushroomed about and become quite competitive.
One such store that opened up few years ago is Times Sports, located on the same row as Famous Amos, opposite Pet Family and Ming Tien. They may be small, but they are usually well-​stocked with badminton gear such as widely sought-​after racquets, shoes, grips, tubes of shuttlecocks, and the like.
My brother plays regularly, so occasionally, he gets his stuff here. If you want them to reserve a particular item for you, make sure you call them first to confirm they have your reserved item in hand before you make your trip there, as I know some badminton enthusiasts are willing to travel far and wide to get their hands on their preferred ‘battle gear’.
