As part of a team of coffee lovers who were invited to share their opinions, Brew & Bread is a new venue for me to explore. The inviting & warm interior beckoned me to feel comfortable to open up in sharing my thoughts on every coffee I tasted. We tasted American, El Salvador, Ethiopian & other coffee(can’t remember the name). In total six types of coffee that evening alone. I am extremely alert. Don’t think I can sleep tonight.(@_@) Brew & Bread’s oreo cake is delicious. Taste so good when paired with coffee. Plus the environment is quiet. It is conducive for students who engage in study group and folks who just want a peaceful place to chill and chat.

Ah, Brew & Bread. Beyond its cool name comes a café that really gives you the experience of eating cooked dough with cups of decent coffee. For what it is worth, everything here tasted decent. Their latte tastes pretty fresh, and you can taste the smooth, slightly bitter aftertaste that will only come from coffee beans that are crushed to perfection. They do have omelettes for you to try and consume, so they do have stuff besides bread. Now why 3 stars, you wonder? Perhaps it is because of the price, where it is a bit too overpriced for its own sake. Ah well.

This is one of the first few cafes that opened in Kota Kemuning. It’s a rare gem with more than decent quality food. Whenever i have my Eggs Benedict cravings, and i don’t want to head too far out — this is my go to place to get it. If you are bored with Eggs benedict, you can opt for the Eggs Waldorf which is eggs benedict but with mushrooms instead. It’s a pretty comfortable place also to sit down with your laptop and get some work done. And they are pretty serious about their coffee, you can tell from the quality of beans they use. So do expect some yummy coffee.

I was introduced to this place by my boss, who loves his coffee brewed on the spot. It was during brunch hours, he ordered everything including the coffee to have a serious talk with me. Honestly, i could possiblu think of the worst which was firing me, turns out he just wanted to know more of my market, my generation as to how the Generation Y thinks. The egg benedict he ordered was good. I never had one before in my life and the first one actually taste really good. As for the coffee, Im not sure which one he ordered but I could tell you it is quite strong and bitter. Probably its a black coffee but after brunch, I couldn’t even rest my head on the table as I was really awake and hyper! I would definitely return to this café but the only problem was I heard during lunch hours this place is crowded and its quite a distance from my house!

I recently visited Brew n Bread not too long ago on a peaceful weekday morning with my other half. Brew n Bread is situated in the cozy suburban area of Kota Kemuning. This is probably the only café/restaurant in Kota Kemuning/Shah Alam area that actually roasts their own coffee beans, and it is quite obvious as there’s a big coffee bean roasting machine located at the entrance as you enter the café. I generally find this café quite cozy and comfortable, but during peak hours it can get quite crowded and noisy. Their food and coffee is generally alright but not phenomenal. I had their western breakfast meals and a cup of latte and it was fine. Occasionally you may even have an opportunity to observe how they actually roast their coffee beans, as I have yet witness it. If you happen to be in Kota Kemuning and you wanted to have some hand crafted coffee instead of the usual starbucks, you can definitely visit this place sometime, I bet the coffee here is like a thousand times better than the chain coffee outlets!

Another best place to hang out at Kota Kemuning. My friends brought me here because she heard about this place from her friends that heard it from their friends that heard it from the bestfriends … zzzz. I absolute loves this place because of the ambiance that makes me really enjoy my cup of coffee while pretending talking about something useful with my friends. The coffee was great. I bet even the Alexander The Great would saying that this coffee is great.

Been hearing about this place for a while. One day, I decided to give them a try. My hubby and I went there together with my mom and my baby niece. We ordered quite a few different dishes(couldn’t remember the names) from their menu to have a try. We ordered an Egg Benedict, a tuna sandwich, a mushroom soup and a mushroom omelette topped with mushroom soup. Yums! I like mushrooms! Oh and not to forget, coffees too. I like going in a big group, because it allows me to have more variety. Who doesn’t like variety? Overall, we had a very fulfilling and satisfying brunch there. Nice food and pleasant environment.
