Kolam Pancing

Kolam SS24 at Shah Alam is probably one of the most well stocked fresh water Catch & Release pay ponds in Klang Valley. This is also the best fishing pond for you to experience the strength and power of those fresh water dishes such as Patin, Grass Carp, Big Head Carp, Mekong Catfish, Alligator Gar, and the list goes on. Most of the fishes here are generally huge in size, and Mekong Catfishes here are usually above 25 Kilograms (They pack one hell of a fight!), so this is definitely an exciting fishing spot to visit.
However, this pay pond is practically off limits during the weekends as this place is usually fully packed during those days, and during those times you can’t even fish in peace due to the constant tangling of fishing lines with other anglers. It is definitely better to visit this pond during the weekdays to avoid the crowd, and try to arrive early (6:30am early), as you stand a better chance in hitting the monster biggies here.
This is definitely my go-​to place when it comes to fishing for Mekong Catfish as this place is practically just 15mins away from my house. I’m giving them a double thumbs up!
