Big plate restaurant was recommended to my mum by a friend of hers upon discovering what heavy eaters me and family were, so naturally she would recommend a place with a moniker like«BIG plate». Somewhat insulting maybe. Anyways we came here expecting one thing, ginormous servings of food that would require two IRONMAN world champions to drag our bellies out once we were done. Instead we left without any such assistance necessary. The only somewhat ‘wow’ moment(a very lackluster wow) was the soup which was served in a bowl of bread. The portions did vary from dish to dish, however with a name like big plate, expectations ran high, but to be fair their plates were in fact large. Just another middle of the road dining experience.
