The Library

The lamest joke ever that could be cracked at this place; «I’m such a good boy, I was at the library all day, studying»
But this place does have a library like design with books in the background and shelves resembling an actual library. The Library is a great place to kick back and relax into the night sipping on a wide range of alcohol offered.
My friends and I were bored walking aimlessly waiting for the night life to get started, being Malaysians we were too early to get the night started so we decided to check this place out. We sat by the patio at a small table with high stools and browsed through the drink list.
They had a few interesting drinks that can only be ordered if a certain bartender is on work that day. We ordered a couple of cocktails and a glass of beer. I didn’t fancy the cocktails much as it was too sweet and light on the alcohol.
I would say that it is a little pricey given the quality.

We reached this place at around 4 in the afternoon, trying to kill some time before a discussion which was set at 4pm but then got pushed to 6pm at the very last minute. The place was empty except for a couple of tables, I guess the happy hour crowd wasn’t there yet then.
The establishment was considerably big for a corner lot with a few tables on the balcony/​patio, we however chose to sit inside to shelter from the hot sun. We chose a seat in what felt like the VIP space, it was elevated and there were only 2 table available so that made us feel like Kings and Queens. We enjoyed a couple of pints of delicious Hoegaardens upon our rightful thrones (it was buy one free one so imagine our excitement!) I did however feel that it was kind of dark and a little gloomy seated inside (was quickly starting to regret not picking a place closer to the balcony.)
Half an hour before we had to leave for our discussion, the happy hour crowd from the neighbouring offices started pouring in and the place sort of lit up instantly. I call it the happy hour miracle.
