Aroma Cilantro

Algo así como un restaurante de comida mexicana de autor pero en un ambiente súper cómodo, informal pero bastante coqueto con una decoración entre industrial, rústica y vintage muy bonita y relajada.
Si ya te estás enganchando a venir con esta descripción, espera a que te cuente del menú: es muy variado, se enfocan en antojitos de autor pero es de los pocos lugares que tienen específicamente menú vegetariano/​vegano y no te estoy hablando de aburridas ensaladas, tienen tortas vegetarianas, quesadillas con chaya, champiñones y hasta sopes de nopales y más. Las aguas son otra cosa que vale la pena probar, la de piña con jengibre es otro boleto, muy fresca y deliciosa.
Fue una excelente decisión venir aquí, el servicio también es bueno pero su explicación de las salsas y aderezos para los antojos es de lo mejor. Definitivamente vuelvo a terminar de probar el menú vegetariano.

I had one of their torta specials, the sandwich was good, but was smaller in portion than I expected. The meat itself was a bit over-​cooked, but it was still tasty. It was more of an appetizer than a main course, their selection of salsa is so vast though and each one had such a unique flavor to it!

After missing our connection in Cancun en route to Seattle from Havana, we ended up having to stay overnight as the next flight out wasn’t until the next day. We were exhausted, frustrated, and starving. We were staying near this mall complex and needed to get something to eat. We spent probably 20 minutes looking at all the restaurants and their menus in this mall, and finally decided on Aroma Cilantro. We’re so glad we did!
They brought out 8 salsas which were all house made. Most were very spicy, but two were on the sweeter side with a good kick! Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we ordered too much food, but it was all delicious! It was fresh and tasty (though they used hardly any cilantro. haha). The owner even came over to us and helped us out with our ordering since we don’t speak much Spanish. The inside décor was also interesting.
Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and the bill for several food plates and 4 beers was under $ 30USD!

Una de las mejores chefs de cancun, Karla Enciso es la dueña de este lugar, comida mexicana bien hecha lo que mas disfrute sin lugar a dudas las salsas y totopos, la verdad es que esas salsas te las quieres llevar a casa. La torta de milanesa tiene un aderezo de chipotle que bien vale la pena probar. No dejen de probar el agua de puña con jengibre es super refrescante.
