Fue mi primera vez en este café y me encanto. Probé un shot de espresso y un late que tiene almendras. No recuerdo el nombre, pero estubo muy rico. El ambiente estaba agusto y nos atendieron bien también. Definitivamente regresaré la próxima vez en cdmx.

This is like, the way better competition for Starbucks in Mexico. In fact, I’m surprised Starb’s is still in business. Their tongue-in-cheek approach to marketing (see my pic) is enough to keep me coming back for more! I wish I could sit here all day and try their selection of drinks, but I am boring and was horribly addicted to their espresso cortados. I had their pre-packaged pastries, and if I didn’t know any better I would have assumed those were baked fresh in-house daily. Way better than Starbucks, in fact I’m just going to stop comparing the two now. How American of me :-D
I loved this Condesa location! However, most of the seating is outside and unfortunately that is where all the smokers hang. Waaaaaa. I had to fight through some serious urges to leave the cigarette clouds, but that espresso was just way to flippin’ good to leave. Also, the adorable corner café views? C’mon, I’ll swallow a little second hand smoke for that any day.

Me gusta cielito… sus slogans, su marketing… pero no puedo dejar de pensar que aunque se va de mexicano o de versión mexicana de starbucks… lo cierto es que es carísimo para un mexicano medio… se puede comer un menú del día de tres platos en una fonda por el mismo precio que te cuesta un café aquí!

To anyone living in the city, this is like me reviewing a Starbucks, since this is a chain of coffee shops, but to my fellow ex-pats and tourists, I want to share my wisdom. The coffee is better and cheaper than Starbucks, plus the pastry options are better. They have a very good café con leche, several hot chocolate options and multiple tea options. All drinks can be duplicated to hot or cold options. The food is much more Latin America than American, and I say «When in Rome…» I really like the chocolate and blackberry pastry
