Restaurant Garibaldi

Rudy is the best host. I bring my Sweetheart Couples Cruise group every year on Valentine’s weekend and he makes sure we are taken care of. Been doing this for the last three years… Can’t wait until next year Feb 13, 2016 see you then, Rudy! Great prices, too!

We were back on Christmas day during a cruise with 9 family members; Rudy was there and gave use a great time. Rudy is very attentive and makes the visit very fun. Again, we sat outside at bar tables… Buckets of beer, shots (private stash — LOL), nachos and guacamole… and just as good was the people watching, there is plenty to see at this location… LOL. Two hours of fun for $ 50, I thought that was very cheap after paying twice that for one round of drinks and shots at Papas & Beer. As others have commented, there is a strip club in the back (closed during the day) and yes, the girls at the bar look like /​are likely hookers. As for the pink building across the street another commenter mentioned, it is next to a place called Papas & Burgers (not to be confused with Papas & Beer), it is a cheap hotel where hookers and transvestites hang out. Given the noticeable security hanging out around Garibaldi’s, the hand gesture and head nods, I suspect they are serving more than drinks and food here but… it was entertaining.

We stopped in here towards the end of our day in Ensenada. We were ushered in by the waiter who was decent enough. We ordered 2 fish tacos and an order of chips and guacamole. There was a ton of onion in both the guac and the tacos.
The female «bartenders» are likely hookers. Not necessarily all of them, but definitely some of them. We saw a transaction take place that was pretty obvious. They’re all loaded up with tacky makeup and are behind the bar, smoking cigarettes, and if there’s an interested customer, some hand gesturing takes place and they take off to the closest hourly hotel
We saw 3 old Asian guys take off with one girl, it was really gross. The bathroom is gnarly too, and there’s a sign telling you not to put any toilet paper in the toilet, you’re supposed to toss it in the little trash can they have next to the toilet… after you’ve used it. Nice.

Can’t say anything about the food but the booze is cheap and it’s a great spot to people watch!

Probably one of the best pina coladas i’ve ever had. Chips and guacamole were good. Beers 2 $, stripper poles on the bar and they even do beer bongs. But watch out for the beer bong hahahaha

The margaritas are large and well made. We had a great time talking with the waiters and owner. It is great being there on a non-​cruiship day. The carne burrito was large and tasty
