Tacos Y Mariscos Alan

I am so happy to write my first Mexico review… and I just happened to take a little cruise down to Ensenada this past weekend and ate at a Mariscos taco shop just so i could accomplish this! ok i also ate there because I wanted a good meal (the ship food is worse than awful!)
this is not quite a restaurant… but more than a street cart… it is a small store front with 4 picnic like tables squeezed in. the fish is from the fish market around the corner… so very fresh and delicious…
the chips, tortillas, were all store bought (i could see the packages)
the salsa tasted really yummy… probably also store bought though.
the fish is what is showcased here… that’s ok…
if they had been making more things from scratch… that would have bumped it up to a 5 star.
so we ordered the following and shared (and re ordered some)
small shrimp cocktail
fish taco x 4
gobernador taco
um…chips…fresh salsa’s…carrots…radishes were already waiting for us on our table.
‘everything was delicious… i gobbled up the chips (tostitos) and salsa (3 kinds) that were on the table
i inhaled a dozen radishes… yum!
i ate one fish taco and tasted the shrimp cocktail and gobernador taco…
everything was tasty and fresh… something was missing …
would i go back? well… if i lived closer. yes…but since i do not. i will probably want to try a different spot next time… eventually i’ll try all of the shops around the fish market =)
