Quinta las Alondras

The overall experience was pleasant and the service was excellent. We got there on a Thursday night (non-​holiday weekend) on a rental car from the airport, pulled up to the front, they helped with the bags, and checked us in. The hotel is in the outskirts of the historic center, which is a good idea because you will not feel congested and lost within the tunnels of Guanajuato.
We ate breakfast at their restaurant /​bar, which offered amazing service. The waiter was always ready to fill up our coffee and make any custom breakfasts. Food quality was very good and the restaurant was very clean.
The rooms were a little cold and the beds a little stiff (hence the 4 out of 5 stars) but the quality of sheets and furniture was much better than the neighboring Holiday Inn Express that I stayed at a few months back. The pool was being repaired while we were there but it looked like it would be a lot of fun during the summer. I highly recommend this place.

No me he hospedado en este hotel, pero hace pocos meses estuve apoyando a un visitante que sí se hospedaba ahí a trasladarse en la ciudad durante su estancia. Tenía que llegar al hotel muy temprano por la mañana para recoger a este invitado porque no hablaba español y por lo tanto necesitaba ayuda todo el tiempo. En la recepción del hotel eran casi todos muy amables y lo ayudan, por supuesto. Pero creo que es un hotel bueno para quien se puede desplazar fácilmente hacia dónde tenga que ir, porque si sus asuntos son en el centro de Guanajuato o si no hablan español, como en este caso, no les conviene. También tiene la ventaja de los hoteles que están fuera del centro, que es principalmente, estar lejos del ruido y el ajetreo de los turistas y los eventos. Queda lejos de la fiesta pero al menos los huéspedes pueden dormir plácidamente a cualquier hora.
