Food was good but didn’t agree with my stomach. I ordered lobster and shrimp, I payed for it after. No montezumas revenge. Be careful what you eat here. I should’ve just got something simple but I’m on vacation so I had to go all out. Never again will I eat the lobster here.

Great ocean front view with very fresh food! I had the BEST coconut shrimp I have ever had here! I also loved the fajitas! Really authentic food made with care. I will be back in a month or so and plan to come to Panchos many times!

The food is so good ! they cater to you and give great service. I’ve been there twice they gave us free shots of tequila and treat you like family ! the food is so delicious ! The place Is very clean! My recommendation if you want a seat outside looking at the ocean is to make reservations. The seats go fast!

By far, one of the best restaurants ever! Excellent customer service, professional and friendly staff, delicious food, ridiculously low prices and amazing views of the ocean. HIGHLYRECOMMEND Pancho’s! I went 4 times during my 6 day stay in mazatlan! Thank you for taking care of Anthony and I!!!

This is for the Panchos across from Pueblo Bonito. We loved having breakfast here on our last trip, so came back. We forgot though, that the combination breakfasts are huge! We shared a fruit plate, good except the papaya wasn’t ripe. Then I had Chilaquiles Oaxaca something with red sauce and meat, which came with a corn tamale. Delicious, but i couldn’t finish it! Hubby had the General, a chile stuffed with shrimp, and came with chilaquiles. He loved it! The prices here are so reasonable, even without the current exchange rate. Next time we’ll share or order a breakfast that includes everything, which I assume won’t be as large!

Could be a 5 except for one time. First off the food is great and the service amazing. Must try all the shrimps! Been here a few times. However the one time when I Did complain that my food wasn’t what I ordered when dessert came mine was in a different cup than everyones. It very well could have been nothing but why was mine specifically in a different cup. Either way the food is amazing!

Went to this place 3 times during Carnival 2016. The service and food are off the charts. both restaurants are decorated so colorful and the view at the beach is absolutely stunning.

Always great food, Pancho is there to great us with a smile, a handshake and a kiss for us ladies. We’ve been coming to Mazatlan since our honeymoon in 1975, 41 years this coming March, enjoying it still. Service is always prompt, wait staff obliging and always serving with a smile. Thank you Pancho

The service here was EXCELLENT, margaritas were wonderful and the Pancho’s moonshine was also good. Their ceviche was the best we’ve had so far. Don’t skip this place, it is A must visit while you’re in Mazatlan!

Recomendado el Salmon y el filete relleno. Se tardaron cerca de 30 min para servir, aunque nos sirvieron unos chilitos rellenos marlin deliciosos y al final una crema de kalua para el desempance de cortesía.

We were with another couple on a cruise and we had lunch there. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. We are going on another cruise at the end of this month and we will again have lunch/dinner at Pancho’s. The price are also very reasonable and the ocean view is excellent. You may have to wait for a table on the outside deck but well worth the wait.

We just finished a family trip to Mazatlan for thanksgiving… We went to Ponchos more than once :-) they make margaritas table-side(our amazing margarita made by Fidel), give free apple guava infused shots, phenomenal fresh ceviche and great service! Note: we were at the Pohchos across the street from Pueblo Bonito but I hear both are great!

We have been going to Poncho’s every year for the last 7 years an d love it. Tonight we wnt for my birthday and had a table on the sand at sunset. The service is so good and the food matches that. We see the same servers every year which indicates Poncho treats his people very well and that is passed onto the people lucky enough to eat there. The tequila cheese is not to be missed and the Mexican coffee is a show in itself as welll as tasting great. There are a lot of good restaurants in Matzalan, but by far Poncho’s is the best food and service Thanks for making my birthday a great event. Maria Murray

Before a recent Mexican Riviera cruise I hit Unilocal to recon each city for nice spots others have sussed-out to escape their cruise ship fare. Panchos came out pretty high for Matzatlan so my bro & I got a cab and made the fairly long drive to get out of the port. As others say, this is indeed worth the hassle /distance to arrive(and taxi wasn’t bad… about $ 10.00USD each way). We had the frog legs and«Chiquitos»(know I spelled that wrong) and house margaritas to start. My mango version was very good on the VERY hot /humid day we visited. Frog legs were the first I’ve tried in my life, and like I’ve heard taste similar to chicken. We did the mixed plate of one pair battered and the other grilled. If you have a big group we saw some simply incredible variety meat /seafood table grill orders coming out too. You also can’t beat the beach front location either. Service staff is EXCELLENT and were so attentive… and yes they really do bring post-meal shots here. Ours were some nice Kahlua & milk for the hot weather.

Amazing dinner! And, not just the food, the service is outstanding! Two wait staff stand ready to attend to your needs with the littlest glance. Free shots, free antijitos/appetizers, amazing chilies stuffed with smoke marlin, and an after dinner shot of Irish Cream. The house margarita’s were great, no need to pay extra for Cadillac or Patron, they are large and cost approximately $ 4.25USD. The tortilla soup and fajitas were delicious and the ocean views made it a perfect ending to a perfect day. We even met several other friendly patrons and exchanged numbers. Our bill for this wonderful evening $ 42.00 with tip. We will be back!

First time in Mazatlan and went to Panchos against the advice of someone. From the moment the hostess saw us to the moment we left the service was over the top incredible, as was the food. If I could, I would rate this 10 out of 5 stars. Our experience was off the charts and we will definitely go back before we leave on Friday!

If you visit Mazatlan and don’t come here, you’re doing it wrong. The service given to us was exceptional. On top of tending to all our needs(we were never given«no» for an answer), they threw in free shots and just made the entire experience so enjoyable. The food is amazing. I had the steak surf ‘n turf. The bacon wrapped steak was perfect and the bacon wrapped, cheese covered jumbo shrimp was soooo good. The table side salsa was out of this world and the tequila queso was probably the best cheesy thing I’ve ever eaten, plus was incredibly awesome to watch. And the Spanish coffee… You have to try it. We came here 10 years ago and had to make a return trip when we came back to Mazatlan. The beach view is beautiful, and if the heat is a little too much for you, they’ve added an air conditioned second floor that also has a beach view(always a plus in this city). This is the original location, also referred to as Pancho’s on the beach(if you want to tell your taxi driver). They’ve opened a second location but we haven’t visited that one yet. We’ll always come back when in town!

This is my first time to mazatlan and this place made the first day awesome! Everyone that took care of us was genuinely kind. Food was everything we hoped it was. I had grilled octopus in a garlic butter… Fantastic! My wife had grilled Mahi Mahi filet that she fell in love with. Drinks were on another level. Banana margarita and a mango one as well. But wait there’s more, had to try the lemon one as well. Did I mention the two shots they gave us and the after dinner liqueurs as well. Wish I could take this place back to California but will just keep this place a secret between us.

Pancho’s a longtime favorite has gone downhill. Like Pancho himself the place has aged. Seafood is just so-so and the frozen lobsters burnt and not tasty. Location on the beach across from SeaShell City is great but I came for the food, not just the atmosphere.

There was two locations and I went to the one on the beach at night. We sat at the top so there was a beautiful view, there were people playing music on the beach so that was good. We started with free chips with three different sauces. The waiter is very knowledgable and explained any items that were unsure about and recommended what was good. The food was Amazing, affordable and had large portions and to end the night they gave us two free shots of baileys.

The name of the restaurant is wrong, The oceanfront Panchos Restaurante we went to did not have«Los» it was only«Panchos» the location was correct in Zona Dorada, Mazatlan. As I reviewed all the pictures we took that day, I still can taste the grilled lobster taste in my mouth. The price was so reasonable, the view was so spectacular, we had to wait to get a table. This was a memorable meal, the highlight of our cruise. We had free chips and a caddy of 3 different salsa to start. I ordered a piña colada, I really wanted a COCOLOCO but they did not have fresh coconut like they did in Puerto Vallarta, it was so so, not as good as what I had in Acapulco restaurant in the US. I ordered a margarita, it was made with fresh lime, no mix in Mexico so that was a treat always. We had a twin lobster dinner for 2, it came out to about $ 32! Tra House wanted $ 69.99 and their lobster looked not at all marinated and bone dry. We are ready to take this cruise again, Mexican riviera, round trip out of Los Angeles, just to eat at this same restaurant.
