Starbucks

This Starbucks is the third I’ve been to while in Mexico City. They are everywhere by the way! They don’t have Pumpkin Spice Lattes here but otherwise its pretty usual.

This is the only Starbucks location that I went to while in Mexico DF. As is my habit, I ordered a grande iced coffee sweetened with whole milk (claro, en español). What I received was a beverage that looked like a normal iced coffee, but after stirring it, it was flavorless like water. I took it back and told the barista the problem and asked for another shot of espresso or something. He was confused. After explaining that I ordered an iced coffee, he said «oh, in the future order an iced espresso!» (No sir… I want an iced coffee — one of the trademark beverages that Starbucks serves at all their locations.) Nonetheless, the extra shot of espresso made the beverage drinkable (but still not right), so I left it at that. Whether this is a problem with just this location or with all Mexican Starbucks, I don’t know.
Aside from that, the Fraps we ordered all turned out fine.

Como siempre muy lindos y muy amables pero cuidado con este Starbucks si eres friolento (a), hay pocos lugares para sentarte y en pleno Reforma 222, un viento brrrrrrr
