Coco’s Kitchen is an okay place for a quick meal like a breakfast or brunch. We ordered huevos con chorizo and although the dish was okay, it wasn’t really anything particularly special. It was rather bland; I definitely expected better tasting food. The ambiance is casual and comfortable and the service adequate. The prices are also very reasonable. If I happened to be walking by there again I might drop in for a quick meal, but my expectations would be a bit lower. — Cheers!

The ambiance is probably the coolest thing about this place! The front is basic open air restaurant, but you walk through to the courtyard and it’s a whole new experience. You’re surrounded by trees wrapped with lighting, large plants, and plenty of fans! It feels like you’re far away and not in a restaurant surrounded by concrete. Service both times we went was impeccable. The first time I was too sick to eat so our server gave me a shot of something awful followed by some mineral water. It didn’t help the problem I had, but it was nice of him to try. The boy loved everything he ate that trip, even my food! The second time we went, I had the stuffed almond crusted French toast. The portion was enormous and oh my gosh was it tasty! Green juice, fresh squeezed juices, and breakfast booze creations are all fantastic. Definitely worth multiple visits during your trip!

Beautiful place for brunch or lunch, we didn’t do dinner. I had the Chilaquiles, green juice and mimosa, all was very good and portions were large. Staff very friendly and quick. It’s not too affordable if that is what you are looking for.

Breezy courtyard on a warm day = a piece of paradise. Green juice was so good we both had seconds! The omelet was just average — good, nothing to write home about. The almond crusted stuffed French toast, on the other hand, was pretty amazing!

I love this restaurant. We had a party of 10 and the service was excellent as was the food. The atmosphere at midmorning was delightful. We were made to feel welcomed and the staff joked with us, which works well for us. I had the corn bread which was grilled and had some sweetness but not cloying. Fresh fruit plate we shared. Everyone seem to like their choices. I want to return. Handled our party easily and graciously.

I wasn’t sure if this place but first a great singer for entertainment. Second great coffee and mimosas. And third the food: a Real Brunch. Love the servers! You need to try it! If is too hot outside they have a coolest restaurant.

What a terrific place for breakfast. Love the Apple Pancakes and Green Juice. The rest of the menu is very good too. Very friendly staff will attend to your needs. The outdoor setting is divine. If you have a dog bring it. They are very accommodating with water for your pooch.

This restaurant was recommended to me by someone in the area as a great place for breakfast even though they also serve lunch and dinner. The address for me was quite confusing because all maps showed this place to be up near a hotel on the hill when it’s actually more towards the beach area. If you walk down Pulpito towards the ocean, you’ll find it on the left hand side. The dining area is quite nice with comfortable chairs and a large open window up front for looking out on to the street. They have plenty of tables for larger parties and overall the place is really clean. Their breakfast menu is a simple two folded pages which comes in English & Spanish. They specialize in American style breakfast items such as omelets, benedicts, and egg breakfasts with a couple Mexican items. They have quite a number of griddle options including waffles, French toast and some gluten free batter. I found the cinnamon roll French toast( ) to be really good here and a big portion for 79 pesos. It comes with three large halves of a cinnamon roll dipped in batter and covered lightly with some brown sugar. The texture( ) of the toast was perfect with a crispy edge on top and a sugary frosted bottom( ) to the roll. On the inside of the toast was a fluffy-like center with soft moist bread. Even though it sounds bit overkill on sugar, it wasn’t overly sweet. For an extra 29 pesos, I added the option for eggs and bacon to be added. The scrambled eggs were cooked great, but it wasn’t quite the portion of two eggs. The bacon was okay, a bit too greasy for me. I enjoyed the French toast here, and would recommend it. The only issue I found here at Coco’s Kitchen was the service. The service was pretty lousy during my meal because it seemed like none of the servers really wanted to help me when walking in at first. After I finally got sat down, they seemed reluctant to even give me a menu and drink. Finally after getting my coffee by looking over at the waiter who had a carafe, I was able to order my food. To top off the bad start, the food seemed to take forever coming out even though there were hardly any diners at the restaurant. Then to refill my coffee, I literally got up out of my seat a couple times in search of staff so I could get some more. Overall CoCo’s has decent food, with okay prices and bad service. I don’t think I would return simply because the service was so bad and because the food took so long, I ended up delaying my day a bit.

Breakfast, lunch or dinner, Coco’s is not to be missed. Mimosas, and green juice to start the day, great wine to end it, all can be found here. Be prepared to relax and have time to visit as you sit in the garden under the trees. Coco’s is also a great place for special events as she knows how to «make a party» or beautiful evening. Just let her know when you reserve and you’ll be happy you chose this personal touch place for the evening.

What a wonderful restaurant. The secluded courtyard is spectacular. The service and hospitality, bar none. The food is out of this world. Highly recommend!!!

This place came highly recommended by a couple of new friends who live here every Winter. We ordered a Chorizo Omelette & Salmon Omelette. I liked my green juice and she her thick mango smoothie. The food was great, but the service was slow. Was almost impossible to get our check at 11 am on a Tuesday, as we sat waiting at our cleared window side table for more than 20 mins.

Upscale place; ate breakfast a couple times. Mosquitoes can be a bit intense so spray beforehand. Staff is crazy nice and service is fast.

I just had breakfast here yesterday. It was pretty tasty and the staff was nice. The location is great and I found parking right out front *lucky me*. I had the almond crusted french toast and my hubby had the red chilaquiles… both were awesome!

We ate there yesterday for breakfast and were pleased with the whole meal. Servers, hostesses, and the like were all nice and provided great service. We are the French Toast with almonds and marscapone cheese. We also had the bacon and avocado omalet. Both very tasty. We will be back.

Staff were very attentive and concerned when we didn’t finish the entire plate and dessert! They asked a few times if something was wrong… we were just stuffed! Friendly people and great food!!!

Pleasant staff, I like peaple who smile. I prefer bright sunny places and Coco’s is like eating in a dark jungle. The food was ok. Heading back to Fredy’s for breakfast.

Great place for an American style breakfast. The pecan waffle was amazing and so we’re all the French toast options. Chilaquiles were disappointing so pass on those. Dog friendly.

I’m sitting right now in the midst of a food coma. My husband got the Vallarta omelet, which he devoured within minutes. I ordered the churro hot cakes, which came with cajeta and marscapone. Holy moly! I’ve never had hot cakes so delicious! This place is relaxing. Ms. Coco herself greats and seats her patrons. They’re only open for breakfast(8am-3pm) during low season(summertime). Make the visit!

We visited this restaurant for dinner though I hear the breakfast is really what they’re known for. There were lots of expats here so pretty much everyone spoke English. We started our meal with a bell pepper soup which was really not my favorite. But the pork enchiladas we had were heavenly. It’s crazy how one dish can stay on your mind but I will never forget Coco’s because of that one dish. The restaurant itself is open air with a nice ambiance and the service(and Coco) were great. Overall, I highly recommend the experience…
