Don’t let the Roadhouse appearance scare you away. And, you need to speak a little Spanish as they don’t cater to tourists. That said, run, don’t walk to get their tacos. Pork tacos? Check. Steak tacos? Check. Shrimp tacos? Check. Fish tacos? Check. Chicaron tacos? Check. Goat tacos? DOUBLECHECK. The birria is great. They mix their masa on site, and hand press and cook tortillas to order. Everything is as fresh as can be. I can’t wait to go back!

This taco shop is a few blocks from Old Town and was recommended by a sophisticated friend(and PV resident) of mine. He wasn’t lying when he said they have the best tacos. I tried the marlin(wow), shrimp tacos(wow) and a dish called… chich…(i forget it’s full name, but it was the best. Oops.). Tacos are served with radishes and veggies, with a choice of rice milk or coca cola. The shop is actually a small picnic-like area with a cover tarp. The three sauces were varying spices and my friend noted they were superior to those at other shops(I had the same sauces at a five-star resort on a private beach near the I’ll add pictures and details upon my next visit.
