Bettys Authentic American Burgers

First time here and This place is good! go check them out when you get tired of the tacos lol fries and onion rings were bomb. Hands down they have the best customer service, the owners are super friendly!

OMG! Wifey & I were told this is the best. I’ve been around the World and like a fine burger. THIS IS THE WORLD’S FINEST HAMBURGER HANDS DOWN! Onion rings? Out of this World! Wasabi mayo, just nuts! Stephanie and Dante made us feel so very welcome. These two are the best! We’ll see you again and again real soon!

Came to Baja to relax for a few days at my friend Dave’s house in Las Gaviotas two weeks ago. While in the jacuzzi, we were told about Bettys Burgers, what a great place it is, with delicious burgers.
Today, as we were driving in for another few days of relaxing, we saw Bettys Burgers on our left and decided to stop and try it out…
What a tremendous experience we had there. Dante, the owner, greets you as soon as you walk in, as if you are old friends. It is a cozy joint with 3 tables indoors and two tables outside, on the patio. We sat indoors and were able to enjoy wonderful, very attentive service by Dante. He and his wife have a true gem here.
The burgers we had were exquisite. I had the Bella Betty with added onion straws and homemade thousand island dressing, medium rare. All of their burger patties are made fresh with prime Angus steak.
Each burger came with fresh house cut fries, with your choice of dipping sauce for them…
I could truly go on and on about Dante and his scrumptious food, etc. Perhaps I already have… Lol

Excellent burgers. …I live in the gaslamp this is the best hamburger ever. The service is great, the owner is friendly and personable. We will definitely come back

Let me tell you, these burgers are legit. They are truly a gourmet burger in Rosarito. You might say, oh why would I go eat a burger when I’m in Mexico? BECAUSE THEY ARE WORTH IT!!! And the prices are great! You would easily pay $ 20 in the states for these burgers, but not at Bettys. The icing on the cake is the hospitality from the owners. They are truly welcoming and grateful for you visiting. It is not far off the main strip, so keep that in mind when your trying to find it. It is a couple miles pass the Rosarito Hotel. Highly. Recommended, and can’t wait to go back.

Ok, so my G Friend and I met this couple while we were out to dinner one night in Baja… I accidentally got a bunch of water spilled on me and our table and this couple close by says «Here, come on over to our table, we have plenty or room»
Turns out they were Dante and Stephanie, the owners of Bettys! Fun couple and great guys and we ended up talking for a couple of hours and had a all around really nice evening. Nice! We felt like we made some new friends. They told us they had the restaurant and to stop by… over the next 3 trips we drove around where we «thought» they were but could never find them. Finally last week (we go down about once a month) we called and got directions. Stopped in and they immediately remembered us. NIce!
As friendly as ever… we sat down and ordered a couple of burgers with fries and onion rings. They have a large variety of sauces to go with the fries and a GREAT selection of burgers and sandwich on the menu.
I ordered the «Bacon Blu Cheese Burger» and my girl ordered the «Classic» burger. One with fries and one with onion rings.
Wow!!! I’m here to tell you… my burger was a 10!
In fact… with the exception of ONE other place I’ve ever eaten at… this was the BEST hamburger I’ve EVER had. And I would say equal to the other best one I’d ever had. Simply amazing. The frys were delicious and the onion rings… ok, I’ll say it… BEST onion rings I’ve ever had. She said something about beer batter but I don’t know… what ever it was… it was perfect.
My girlfriend loved her burger as well… in fact we liked them SO much we came BACK the NEXT day for lunch too! And now I have my eye on the Pastrami sandwich… I’ll update this review once I’ve tried that.
On Sat we ate inside… small clean and comfortable.
On Sun we decided to eat on the patio… lots or road noise from the Blvd, but it didn’t bother me. It was nice to eat outside.
I can tell you this… we go to Baja about every 6 weeks… I can’t imagine going down now without stopping here for lunch at least once if not more. It’s THAT great.

Here’s a tip. They are located in on the main Blvd in Potpola. Going South… they are
.4 mile from the stop sign at the 7 – 11 on the left.
Going North… they are 2.6 miles from the military check point on the Right.
And they are right next to a restaurant with a large
«Pasta Basta» sign that is pretty easily visible.

Great service and the food is excellent. Now serving beer. :).
You would not find a better burger or pastrami sandwich in Rosarito.
Conveniently located on the Popotla Boulevard, half mile south of Pemex gas station.
Bring cash because no credit card accepted. (Like almost all restaurants in Rosarito)
Parking is on the street but totally safe. Remember that Wednesday is closed.

By far the best burger place in Rosarito. The food is fresh and tasty, the owners are nice and upbeat, and they’re always exploring new tastes and creations. If you want to grab a burger instead of a taco this is the place!
