Went for saturday beach drinks and apps. 20 pesos to park, and no service. I dont mean bad service, no service even after I went to the bar to get drinks and ask for a server. Never had a server, had to go back and pay at bar. Manager was yelling at staff about people on beach not buying drinks, but ignoring those in palapa, next time Ill go next door.

I absolutely love this beach bar! The margaritas here are super strong and the view is beautiful. It is literally a skip and a leap to the ocean. They also have delicious paninis(turkey and Brie! Mmm) and yummy nachos. If you get here around 6:30PM, the sunset is yours to indulge in. Amazing.

A local directed me to this place, as one of the must be place in San Carlos. It was well worth the visit. This is a bar on the beach with some finger food choices. Do not expect to have a gourmet food here. It is mainly a bar. The waiters send your drink and food to the beach. When it is close to the sunset, there are live music set up on the side. You would not be disappointed if you come over here for relaxing and drinking. Note: they only take cashes.

Phenomenal staff and business owners — I have nothing but nice things to say about the service and general kindness of the folks who run Soggy Peso bar. If that isn’t enough in itself, the ceviche and tostados were grand — especially when you get to enjoy them after a game of volleyball around one of the nearby nets, on a beach with a beautiful view of the sunset. Oh, and there was pretty great live music too.

Good place to go have a couple of drinks and watch the sun set. Nice palapa bar on the beach. Normally live music on weekends.

We attended the monthly full moon celebration. 450 pesos bought a multicourse dinner and two drinks with or without alcohol, live entertainment and a bonfire on the beach. The evening was enjoyable under the light of the full moon and I would recommend it for families with children or singles.

The old beach cantina standby for San Carlos. No food, appetizers only. Dirty beach, broken glass and shells. Lots of new competitors on the same beach where Soggy Peso enjoyed many years as the only cantina on this beach. Like the Hard Rock Café you can’t go to San Carlos without having at least one margarita at Soggy’s

Overall a very good experience! Once you survive the rough dirt road, you end up in a little bit of heaven. The view is to die for and the food comes in a close second. The recommended fish was excellent as was the quesadilla con shrimp. The server knew how to make you feel welcome and was on the ball. We’ll be back!
