great environment, food is ok. Paying for every coffee refill left me uninspired to return.

We came here for breakfast and it was glorious. They had a great fusion of classic American dishes with Mexican flavors.

Unique place, great artwork on the walls, fun music. I just had the spinach salad but it was bursting with flavor. WiFi. A few outside tables to bring dog. Would return to try more things. Their brunch looks fun.

Wow! One of the best places I have eaten at in San Miguel! Excellent breakfast and lunch choices with the freshest of ingredients and really the best cappuccinos in SMA. For breakfast I had the Croc Monsieur… Rama Style: an open-​faced breakfast sandwich with a fried egg, goat cheese, grilled bacon, spinach served with asparagus on the side and very good little gold potatoes (which they call hash browns — but they are not hash browns as we Americans know them). Breakfast also came with really good bread and THE BEST JAM EVER! I think it was hibiscus jam and not too sweet. They sell it in jars and I bought one for my friend who lives in San Miguel. So good! I liked this place so much that my friend and I went back for lunch and the food was just as wonderful. I had a pork panini which was huge and delicious and my friend had mussels steamed in wine. We both loved our choices. They have wonderful bakery items like blueberry scones, several choices of cheesecake (I took home a piece of coconut cheesecake and enjoyed it, but it was a bit too sweet for my taste) and different pies and tarts. The service was friendly and I love the artistic feel of the place. For the most part, the staff speaks good English and their free wi-​fi has a strong signal.

The most fresh amazing alternative to Mexican food in San Miguel. I had the cilantro pasta and it was the most fresh tasting pasta I’ve ever had in my life. The atomosphere is fun and quirky Disney themed and super cool.

Loved the décor. Excellent food. Loved the ambience. Horrible service. So far I have had to get up twice to get a menu and ask questions at the bar… and our server (standing behind the bar) didn’t even care. If you are not in a hurry or care about the service, this place is excellent for the food.

Had wonderful early morning Sunday breakfast here with my family — 2 kids 2 adults. Service was good. Menu was excellent. Prices also good. We had Pozole, pancakes and yogurt fruit bar– all top notch. The toast with house made hibiscus jam was excellent

The food was fantastic, chicken pot pie like mom used to make. Bravo, had Mexican wine for the first time, «Cuna De Tierra» Cabernet very good compliment

Como no mencionar éste lugar, cuando pasas por enfrente del restaurante pareciera que es un lugar más pequeño, pero al entrar te llevas una sorpresa, el lugar es grande, mucho espacio y hay como diferentes zonas, todo con una decoración genial, muy original y versátil, sientes como si estuvieras en diferentes lugares a la vez. Podrás notar que hay muchas imágenes, fotos y figuras de un perro, este era del dueño y al parecer falleció, esto es lo que cuentan. En la entrada puedes ver postres, deliciosos como pasteles, ideal para venir a desayunar, éste es lugar favorito de los extranjeros, sobre todo mayores. Puedes venir en la noche a cenar y anteriormente había música en vivo, de echó hay un piano, ahora es música de pista, pero sigue siendo buena, tipo blues, jazz y de los 70’s.
Puedes tomar un trago, una copa de vino, o pedir algo de cenar o si vienes los domingos preparan pozole, me gustan los lugares tan versátil.

Uno de los restaurantes de moda en el pueblo, preferido tanto por turistas como por locales.
El lugar es una monada, su decoración contemporánea y ecléctica es un gran acierto. La pareja de dueños, Finn y Jaime, son artistas y queda claro en cada espacio del lugar.
El ambiente logra un efecto curioso que es difícil encontrar: por las mañanas es relajado y cercano, un lugar soleado y vivo, calientito y con olores a café y pan recién hecho, perfecto para iniciar el día.
Por la noche se convierte en una cuevita de luz tenue que invita a la intimidad, a beber un buen vino y compartir historias con amigos.
En gran medida el camino que cobre tu estancia en el restuarante podrás guiarlo por el salón que elijas, la mesa de tu elección o la salita disponible; hay espacios privados, íntimos, silenciosos, bulliciosos, cálidos, vibrantes.
Con la comida ocurre lo mismo, hay un platillo para todos los antojos y cada uno de ellos es una garantía. Para desayunar ofrecen pan recién hecho por ellos mismos; recomiendo a esta hora el huevo a la Shelley: un platillo que incluye espárragos envueltos en tocino, queso parmesano y un huevo estrellado.
Para comer o cenar ofrecen una entrada muy original y deliciosa: jocoque con blue cheese, manzana, sandía, arándanos, chile jalapeño y aceite de oliva acompañados por pan pita para servir. De plato principal mi preferido es el pollo al curry en una cama de arroz con manzana verde y un chutney que podría fácilmente comer día y noche durante un año.
La única desventaja es que los precios son elevados y detesto los lugares que asaltan las carteras de sus comensales; ese detalle ha hecho que no esté ahí tanto como mi paladar desearía.

Yo siempre le digo a Diego: si te pones de pasado en ir a restaurantes carísimos, tú pagas la cuenta. Él lo ha bien aceptado y yo feliz de acompañarlo a donde me diga. No es que sea codo, pero de plano, su modo de vida es imposible de costear para mí.
Restaurante Rama es un buen ejemplo de esto, mínimo por persona, son 200 pesos, y eso si tú llevas tu agua escondida en la mariconera y no gastas en bebidas, !qué si no! ¡Seguro sube al doble !
Como la mayoría de los lugares carísimos y bonitos. La Rama, es súper rico, tiene platillos que no te los quieres comer para no arruinarnos, y una vez que los arruinas son la cosa más deliciosa del universo. Yo me convertí en el arruina platillos ese día.
Si tienes para pagar, o tienes un amigo sangrón dispuesto a pagarte porque le caes muy bien, no dudes en venir a darte una vuelta. Te sugiero que vengas de noche, la iluminación lo hace ver más bonito.

This became our go to breakfast and cappuccino spot while we were in San Miguel de Allende. Great coffee! Muuuuuuuch better than for example, Starbucks. We had several great breakfasts here enjoying the outside tables. The inside décor is eclectic and the service is very friendly — we even got a waiter who spoke English! The eggs were poached perfectly and when topped with chipotle cream, they were divine. The biggest surprise was that we were served warm homemade bread and butter with hibiscus marmalade. That’s right, we were eating these great sweet and sour flowers as a jam! On our last day we each bought a pint of the marmalade to take home on the plane.

The food is unusual and amazing! Well worth a try. Eclectic and lovely décor, friendly staff and great location. Prices are very reasonable for the area. The baked goods look fantastic and gluten free is easy to do!
