Good food, good service, lovely environment. The music is nice, but too loud for my taste.

The food was delicious but when we asked for dessert we were brought the check(we speak Spanish fluently) by the bus boy and when we again asked we were told that the waiter had left to go to the pharmacies for a throat pastille– are you kidding me?! The bus people were angry and throwing menus and it became very unpleasant so we just left. Other patrons did too we noticed– then the band started to move in their gear bonking us and our neighboring table causing the couple who had just been served to have to move to one of the many many empty tables. So…don’t know what to say but expect service to be less than average and not at all polite like every other place we have been in town, food expensive but it is at least good…

The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, especially when the Jazz group begins playing at 9pm. Order the Caesar salad which is artfully made table side. The drinks are well-made and Aztec soup is delicious. The steaks entries are generally tasty, also.

Absolutely loved this place! Recommended by a friend who knows this area well, everything he said was true about this place. The food was exquisite and they serve American sized portions(which I love). We started out with a round of cocktails and an order of Ceasar Salad which is made at your table and is fun to watch. I ordered the arrachera which came with two enchiladas, beans, rice and guacamole. The sauce on my enchiladas was so tasty and the beef was cooked to perfection. The service was on point and they check on you often so you never go without. Prices were reasonable and they have plenty of room for large parties. I would definitely recommend this place for food and cocktails.

We loved Tio Lucas! We went there with a party of eight and were promptly seated. Our reservations were on Saturday night and for a large group they handled it well. We all had cocktails and wine. The owner was friendly and helpful in describing the menu items and checked back several times. The menu was in English and Spanish. We all chose the table made Caesar salad and it was delicious. Our entrees were varied and were all well prepared and served together. The decorations and interior of the establishment were very clean and tastefully done. The service was outstanding. We will definitely be going back!

Great margaritas! The indoor tree and live jazz created a lovely atmosphere. I cannot comment on the steak, as I got fish veracruzana, but it was delicious. Don’t be turned off by the fact that it’s considered«a steakhouse.» It has much more ambience than a Morton’s or Ruth’s Chris.

The food was excellent and we returned a second time during our one week stay. Portions are very generous. The waiters speak English but there are lots of locals that eat there. I highly recommend this place.
