Excelente lugar! Un ambiente agradable, la comida tiene un buen sabor y el personal muy amable. Una muy buena opción para cenar en TKT.

I was here during the «Silvio and Piano» show with Gabriela Bojórquez and Roberto Salomón which btw was fantastic in an open air section on the back. As for the food, some of the best gourmet Mexican food I’ve ever tried. I ordered the Tortilla Soup plus the Taquitos and a Citron, very impressive … everything! Make sure you try the bread, has a mouth-​watering garlicish /​butterish flavor, comes with a sauce that’s not from this world. Beautiful décor and the staff is friendly and professional.

This place is great! Group of four ate here on a Wednesday night about 7. Nice ambiance.
Started off with a hoppy microbrew from Tijuana called Lupulosa. Perfect. Another in the group had a margarita. Came out made with good reposado, fresh lime and not much sugar. Happy.
For an appetizer we ordered 1 taco each of slow cooked beef. I think this may be their signature app.
My wife had bacon wrapped shrimp over cheese risotto. Friend had papardelle pasta with the same slow cooked meat. Myself and my buddy had a grilled octopus plate that we really liked.
Cocktails and beer flowed throughout the meal — all good.
For desert we had a an apple cobbler with ice cream. served for 4 in a cast iron skillet. huge and more than enough for the group.
We will be back. Amble menu had all of us looking forward to the next time.

Excelente comida, el ambiente familiar nosotros comimos en el patio que me encanta la decoración y la manera que esta diseñado, el servicio fue de lo mejor sin duda volveremos muy pronto.

He estado pocas veces en este lugar a pesar de estar en mi ciudad natal pero debo de decir que cada vez que he estado aquí me ha gustado mucho lo que he probado. Me gustaría dar mención especial al pulpo enamorado, me encantaron el sabor de este platillo, lo recomiendo así como al restaurante, un lugar bonito y agradable.

My wife and I have eaten here once a year the last 3 years we’ve visited Tecate. We live in Austin, TX, and have the privilege of being guest instructors at the amazing Rancho La Puerta resort in Tecate. We heard wonderful things about this restaurant and decided to try it. Oh my, it is SO good. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Terrific food, great service, and a charming ambiance. We’ll be visiting Tecate again next week and we look forward to our return to El Lugar de Nos!

This very rustically charmed restaurant feels like eating in an old Mexican hacienda or cantina. The food was wonderful although some of the flavors were a little too exotic for my taste.
The staff are friendly and attentive. Never an empty glass. And for English only speakers fear not. They are also very fluent in English and capable of helping to explain the menu if you have any questions.
As well, their restrooms are kept very sanitary, and so for any who may have hesitations about using public restrooms in Mexico fear not.
