Currently obsessed with adult colouring books and being severely disappointed with the quality of felt tip pens I searched the Google for better felt tip pen options .
I don’t remember felt tip pens being so shit from when I was a kid, like what happened ?
Anyhooo this sales girl at Art Supplies knew her well art supplies and had no problem at all letting me test out a few things .
After being talked into a brand of coloured pencils from the U. K called Derwent and discussing the benefits of the coloured pencil I purchased them .
Now these puppies weren’t cheap but I didn’t want to be stuck with shitty felt tips again so caved and got them, I’m hoping they’ll be bringing me hours of colouring in contentment !
If you’re ever out east look out for this shop located in the Meadowlands Shopping Plaza.

Paints, brushes and canvases galore, Art supplies is filled from top to bottom in the best array of colours you’ve seen since that HP Inkjet Printer advert. I’m not much of an artist, but I know good paint when I see it. They also have some great gifts, including face paint, glass and mug painting kits to colour the hours away. If they don’t have what you’re looking for, then they’ll order it for you. Their website is really useful too if you want to take a look at what they have before visiting. It also has some artist tips for those determined to master the talent.
Tucked away in the Meadowlands Shopping Centre, you may be travelling out of your way to get there (unless you’re a local), but I doubt it will disappoint.
