Best Turkish Kebab & Coffee

So I foolishly did not read my Unilocal map properly when I checked into this place last time. Turns out I was at Turkish Cuisine further up the road. That was good — this is better.
Bear in mind, I haven’t been inside. AW went to get the takeaways I had ordered by phone (thinking I was ordering at the other place, but anyway…), and when I asked what it was like inside he laughed and said it looked like some of the places we’d visited in Istanbul. Regardless, the food is delicious. Your average Turkish place (say kebab on Queen) don’t have a lot of flavour, but the chicken and particularly the hummus here are packed full of flavour. The hot chilli sauce is actually hot, which goes down well with me! The portion sizes are definitely on the large side, even when you order the salad only version — there’s a lot of salad in there plus a bucket load of meat on top.
Gotta say, it’s Dominion Rd and we all know what that means for parking. But for a cheeky takeaway, there’s a loading zone or two to pull into. This is definitely going to be a regular in our house.
Also note, you can phone ahead with your order and they’ll keep it on the warmer for you too.
