For many years Fencible Drycleaners was owned and operated by a wonderful man called Rex, who did everything. He was the chief drycleaner, he did the bulk of the pressing, he laundered bulk lots of towels and other laundry for local businesses, and ran the front of the shop too. As a longtime business owner, Rex was able to become part of Howick’s heart — always open during the annual «Midnight Madness» and helping local schools out with prizes for galas and the like. Rex has unfortunately recently moved on and has sold the business to a new group. While it’s heartening to see that the same quality drycleaning and laundry service is available, this place has definitely lost some of its spunk.
