I came here for an event recently and it’s a pretty cool space. Upstairs there’s function (ish) rooms — great for speaking engagements — and downstairs is the cooking classroom with several small station set up and room for s decent number of people.
I’m yet to try their cooking classes but if the kitchen set up is anything to go by, they’re probably pretty awesome. Fun for corporate activities or as a gift for a hard-​to-​buy friend

Definitely a place for people who know absolutely nothing about food or cooking. I say this because if you do have food knowledge you won’t appreciate what the chefs at this place have to say or what they are cooking. Classes are about $ 100 per head so it’s not super cheap, I’d say this is a good place for like, a first date maybe? It’s good on a social level to meet new people and have a bit of fun cooking up a storm and not having to clean up afterwards. The was the classes work (there are 22 to choose from) is you come in, watch the demo, cook then plate up and eat. It’s in a really beautiful building (shares with Nood), opposite the skate rink in Victoria Park. I’m pretty critical when it comes to food, and there are quite a lot of things I disagree with in the classes, but it might be more of a personal thing. Let me just reiterate, I think this is a palce for social bonding rather than the food itself.
