I do enjoy a good night of pool playing, and there seems to be a real lack of decent pool halls in the city centre. This one near the top of Queen Street isn’t too bad, and it’s generally pretty busy. The place itself is very large and quite clean, but I’m not entirely sure that cleanliness is what I really want from a pool hall. The more dark and underground the better in my opinion, with a little bit of dodgy thrown in for good measure.
Anyway, this place is alright for a casual game and not too expensive. The only major downside is that they don’t serve alcohol. That’s a bit of a letdown really. Boo.
