I used to come in this shop all the time, because my friend worked here. I’d just hang around until she was finished work, but the store was always busy, especially at the beginning of the season. The thing that impressed me about this store, was the staff. Thy knew their stuff. I know absolutely nothing about snowboarding or anything like that, in fact the only time I went snowboarding I absolutely hated it, but listening to the staff explain the equipment and fit people for boots, I was impressed. They know exactly what everybody needs, they help kids get into their ski clothes and fit their shoes, they help people find the perfect snow board. The take people’s snow boards and take them out the back of the store and wax them down or fit the bindings or other fancy snow boarding type things. And while I’m no pro snow boarder, I did buy a really awesome beanie from here once, and they have such awesome beanies I’m going back this winter to get a new one, because they aren’t even expensive and they look cool, and they have so many different onces. So whether you are going to get clothes, gear or a snow board, Snow Centre is definitely the place to go.
