New Lynn’s been touted as an up-and-coming suburb for a long time now, so it’s pretty grouse to see a few creeping signs of up-and-coming-ness like the opening of this new Japanese café. It’s simple and modern inside, with big long tables for communal eating, as well as few smaller tables.
They offer sushi from the counter, all super fresh and a far cry from those mass produced places. The fish was delicate and rice well seasoned, and the service was friendly and generous.
They also offer a menu to order from; I must say I was pretty jealous when a fellow by us was served up a delicious looking donburi. I’ll be back to try than next time!
