The AMI Auckland Netball Centre is one of the places to be in Auckland netball. Having played here myself, there are teams from all over Auckland that compete over the season(as well as pre-season), and the competition level is awesome. There are 29 outdoor courts, which makes it great to watch any game you like on a Saturday– you’re spoilt for choice. For spectators, they do great food at the cafeteria here. I have fond memories of their hot chips and they’ve got a pretty good selection of rolls, sandwiches and other baked goodies aswell. I’ve also been to a couple of fundraisers here, held in the main building where the indoor courts are. It’s an awesome space and can fit a tonne of people. They have on-site catering and a liquor license, so you’re set for a 21st or celebratory party. The Netball Centre is also provides Sunday morning markets if you’re in the area as well as tennis courts open to the public. There are always great social leagues happening, so you could register a team(they do mixed leagues aswell!) of friends– a great way to get in some fitness during the week.
