Only stopped for a beer under the warm heaters. Equally warm was the service. Love to come back for more.

I went here on 18^th Dec 2014 with my very close friend when we went to Amsterdam for her 50^th and stayed for one night. We came across this bar and immediately fell in love with it. A truly warm welcome, fabulous service and the bitterballen were delicious. We spent a few hours there on first afternoon, we went out for dinner then back to this wonderful bar where we were greeted like friends and talked to lots of the local regulars. We stayed til the bar closed but guess what? Oh yes we returned the next day for a few hours before leaving to return to the UK. Again greeted with open arms just so incredibly friendly, warm, welcoming, comfortable just wonderful. So sad to leave especially as it meant we missed Kippen Dag that evening. I felt this was my local and will not hesitate to return when I again visit Amsterdam.

Ace pub! V. Friendly and not dear! Clean and staff are spot on! Would def recommend!!!
