De Koffiesalon is a definitely a nice café.
Coffee is very good.
They also have quite good teas.
Their pastries are very nice as well — I tried their croissants and whole wheat cookies, both of which were good.
The interior of this specific one in the Pijp is very «old school salon de thé», I would say. Velvet chairs and the like. A nice terrasse in the front, a small one at the back, an inside a big table and an upstairs mezzanine with more seating.
Too bad they don’t have WiFi…
On the whole there’s nothing wrong with de Koffiesalon but there’s nothing particular either. Perfectly fine to stop here for a cup of coffee — but not worth coming here specifically.
