Litterally «Under the bridge dowtown…». Spinhuis@Torensluis is a former prison also called Brug 9 (bridge number 9), a very beautiful and historical space under a bridge. In the recent past it has been used only for private events and since a few moths it has been squatted by students of the University of Amsterdam. They transformed it into a unique place for openminded and tolerant people that enjoy poetry, music, cinema, political discussions, art, etc. Best is to just walk in and experience yourself Amsterdam’s newest raw gem before it is too late!
