friends were renting an apartment near here, and Ajax had just won a national championship, so going into the Centrum was not an option we were frankly not expecting anything great from this unpretentious neighborhood place, but were very pleasantly surprised i can’t remember everything we ordered(i know that it included 2 satays), but i don’t think any of the platters had a scrap left on it, and this group of 7 included 2 picky teenagers the bill(including wine for the 5 grownups) was about 85 euros

This place was pretty awful. I had the tofu and vegetables with friend noodles. The vegetables were fresh but the noodles were bland, the tofu was yuck and the sauce was awful. Two start just because the service was good.

Decent food, cheap. We would get take out maybe every other week, until I got serious food poisoning on Valentines Day. Sorry Kong Kha, but I will never be able to eat chicken sate again!

Best Thai and Best service we have had in Amsterdam!!! We wanted a simple quite night to ourselves so we Unilocaled for the closest place and found this jem, one block away! Chicken satay and seafood soup were great and the pad Thai was top notch! But what made us decide to give this place 5 stars was its service. Noi, was our server, he was social and friendly, I think he has a love affair with America so he kept coming by and chatting while refilling our wines all on the house! :) so a quite night out quickly became our best dinner and a quite drunken after dinner walk home to local bars.

I have a new favorite Thai place in the buurt. I’ve had some fantastic pad Thai and also tasty green curry tofu. my GF was also impressed with her pad Thai. The first visit she was able to take some home and enjoy it the next day. The second time we went hungry and left full and contented. It’s a small place but accommodates vegetarians. Both times there were streams of people coming for take out so it seems to be a neighborhood gem. We sat outside on a lovely day.

I’ve been coming here since I moved to Amsterdam and I am loving it! The food here is so dam good, it can’t be missed! My favorite dish here is the(Thai Fish cakes and Fried Fish with pineapple sauce). When I first ordered my man was like what are you doing? Yes, I know people with Celiac don’t eat fried fish, but I decided to gamble on this meal and I got lucky. Come to find out there was no gluten in the fried fish. They cook their fish with corn meal, so you know that I had to run back for more! My boyfriend favorite word for me is Miss More… Yes I know, so American. We always want more… The space in this restaurant is very small and intimate, maybe too intimate. Someone decided to bring their kid here for dinner and after being sat in our seat, we decided to do take out. Yelling children and a romantic candle light dinner does not match so well for me. However, we have been back several times since I found out some of their dishes were Gluten-free.:)
