It says unlimited gamba’s or beef. Turns out the gamba’s dish is very little fried gamba’s with fried rice. The fried rice is kinda tasty, while the gamba’s…Way to salty!!! Seems they only want us to order more drinks, h?
Beef is made of gehakt, came with fried fries.
When we order for next round, they started to explain their «rules»: «you are not allow to order next round since you still have some fries on your plate…»
That’s the most strict all-you-can-eat I have ever experienced.
Felt like been forced to eat all the fries and rice, so you won’t have any space left for gamba’s or beef…
Well experience is experience, things like this happens, right?
Good thing is we have Unilocal to share our experience, no matter good or bad :)

We had an all you can eat deal, in 2 hours we 9 small shrimps a 3 really tiny pieces of beef, the small amount of food we got was also extremely salted and there was no real service.

Delicious Suriname food. I’ve tried Suriname cuisine all around Amsterdam, and was introduced to Meo’s by a friend.
The food here is authentic. Prepared with love. Everything is prepared fresh, the seating is comfortable and pillowed. The neighborhood is really cute and easily accessible.
I’ve tried everything from the beef, veggies to fish and brown rice. Since visiting Meo’s I don’t want to try any other Suriname eatery.
