Sakelicious

Had a good snack at Sakelicious. Originally, they organize Sake & Whiskey tastings, so the snacks are probably served alongside a tasting. We expected lunch, since we were at Animecon and it seemed to be an area for a large restaurant (like a mess room) so at first I was taken aback by the small portions.
The food was good though, we had veggie burgers, a sort of veggy patties fried in tempura batter, and Japanese pumpkins. It tasted pretty good, but it did not send us through the roof. I think our expectations might have been too high as well.
It’s a Japanese styled con, so we expected very good Japanese cuisine. As it was good, it wasn’t very special. We might return some day to taste the sake’s, but I thought it was a little too early at noon for this ;)
