It’s always great to come back here. It’s been twp years since the last time I visited Breda but the staff always remembers me. I had the klein rijstaffel (small rice table) today. This provides a good sampling of Indonesian flavors. The selection is great and never disappoints. They give enough food for three.

Met zeven personen, waarvan een kleine eter, konden we niet voor zes een rijsttafel bestellen. Nieuwe regel is dat voor iedere gast besteld moet worden. En dan lijkt het ook nog dat de gerechten op tafel minder in aantal zijn dan in het verleden. Na zeker 20 jaar gast te zijn geweest, gaan we toch op zoek naar een ander Indonesisch restaurant waar we wel gastvrij worden ontvangen. Jammer!

Great Rijstafel, we went with 6 people, ordered a boatload of food. Lots of different types, heats and meats.
The menu was oddly prescriptive about pricing though, explaining that there is a minimum spend per person. This was a bit oppressive and could really have come with a primer.
Additionally the menu was all Dutch and Indonesian. This made it a bit of a crap shoot without a good Dutch speaker at hand.
The restaurant was gorgeous inside though very busy.

In a country that prides itself for their excellent Indonesian restaurants Bali is very disappointing. The prices are a notch above many other restaurants and the food does not at all deliver as one would expect. The curry was flavorless, like something made from sauce bought in the supermarket. The nasi goreng was pretty good, wish I would only have gotten that. The satay sample plate was not at all good, same here the sauces were weak and flavorless, chicken was dry and the lamb did not taste that well but the shrimp was ok. Will try another Indonesian place next time.

Best indonesian restaurant in town! Traditional food, same taste as the food at the island Bali. We love it!

Eschweiler, Germany
This is a very nice indonesian restaurant. Two rice tables, a small one with 19 dishes (22 EUR) and a big one with 25 dishes (27 EUR) are the absolute recommendations for this place. You will have a great time and a lot of eating fun! So go for it!
